I bought these for a springtime trip to Colorado for some light hiking. Also wanted them for hiking at home during wet conditions. These were perfect! They were very comfortable with no break-in needed. I love the look of them too! They had good grip and traction on snowy trails. I am a size 8 and ordered a size 8. They fit perfect! I do not have a wide foot and wore thinner socks. May be snug if wearing thick, heavy socks but bought these for warmer springtime weather so wouldn’t see the need for thick socks. If it was that cold I would wear boots instead. Very happy with purchase. Great price for great quality!
The fit of these shoes is perfect for me! They are light and comfortable.
FYI, I'm nearly 71 years old and I'm training for a 5k trail run this September. I tell you this because some of what I have to say may sound strange. Just took these shoes out on the trail for the first time. I wish the shoe box was just a little wider. I have to wear bunion pads but even my toes were a bit smooshed. They fit like a glove - unfortunately you have to wear extremely thin socks with them or they don't fit at all. Overall, I like them. They have great ankle support, which is good because I clipped my toes on several rocks on the trail today but didn't fall. They have great traction. If you walk or run trails, regular sneakers are not good. Trail sneakers give you traction you need and keep your foot from twisting on the rocks, roots, twigs, etc. If I find that I need to wear thicker socks with them, I may purchase another pair 1/2 size larger. Overall, I really like them even with my bunions, corns, hammer toe and blisters - I was able to tolerate the jog.
Very nice lightweight, waterproof walking or light hiking shoe, primarily for warmer months. Very comfortable, glad I have them.
The shoes are slightly large for being my size, but that works for hiking because my toes don't rub. After they got wet they started squeaking non-stop. Also the sides look like they are tearing, even though I think that's just the seem.Very comfortable for hiking, but they aren't lasting a great length of time. Fantastic waterproofing though! I've had them just under 3 months and am already thinking of getting a new pair because of how noisy they are.
These shoes have lots of room for wider feet. My feed stayed really dry and very warm too. I added arch supports for my high arches, but didn’t have to make any other adjustments! Nice!
I'm very disappointed. Stepped in a puddle and my feet got wet immediatly.
I gave it a 5 star rating because they were too big for me. I went by what they suggested but it did not work out. I believe that someone else would love them too. Pretty color. Well made. Order closer to your size.
