Great fit (W7) true to fit. Comfortable and warm. I wear these out in the elements to take the dogs on adventures. Highly recommend.
I had bought these for a trip to Costa Rica and do not regret! My feet were comfortable and protected along with my ankles. We did some intermediate hikes (with some slippery areas) and a lot of walking. I did not have an blisters or falls compared to my friend who was wearing regular tennis shoes
I got a great deal on these hiking shoes. I love the color combination-teal and brown. They’re very comfortable-keep in mind, with most any new shoes there’s a bit of a break in period. It didn’t take but a couple of hikes to really break these in. I would recommend going up half a size as with any hiking shoe. Especially if you’re planning on hiking in the winter months and are going to wear thicker socks. These are truly waterproof. I was tired of getting my socks soaking wet hiking through shallow creeks or puddles or even just wet grass, which is the primary reason I bought these shoes. They also provide really good traction as well as some ankle support.
I normally wear 7.5-8 shoe but the 8’s are a perfect fit. These boots are high quality. Very comfortable like a tennis shoe. Not clunky, chunky, heavy or awkward but lightweight and flexible. However the insoles are terrible and are simply a flat piece of thin foam with the shoe name on it. Absolutely no arch support or any support at all. I don’t have crazy high arches but I could feel the gaps between my feet and the bottom of the boot. I tried my Brooks tennis shoe insoles and they are perfect. I will be keeping these boots and plan buy another pair of Brooks insoles online or at the running shoe store.
Bought these boots to accompany me to my first trip to Scotland and Ireland. And they were a hit ! I walked, and walked and walked and they stayed true to comfort. In love with them !
I like the way they fit
very well made and fit better than any shoe I have ever purchased. My feet don't hurt other than just tired after nine hours on my feet working. I have now owned three pairs of Columbia shoes, the first pair were worn out years ago. Most likely I will never pruchase another brands of shoes. Unless of course I needed dress shoes and Columbia doesn't make them. I purchased my regular size and was tempted to buy a half size larger due to my feet hurting in all my other shoes thinking that might be the problem but glad I didn't, they fit perfectly.
