The Columbia Women's Peakfreak II Mid Outdry delivers an impressive balance of comfort, support, and style. Thanks to the Adapt Trax outsole, you’ll feel confident navigating both rocky trails and slippery surfaces. This feature sets it apart from competitors, ensuring that you remain stable regardless of the terrain.
In terms of comfort, the Techlite+ single density foam midsole excels in providing a responsive underfoot experience. Whether you're embarking on long treks or simply walking around town, you'll appreciate the cushioning it offers. However, some users report that the boot may need a short break-in period before reaching peak comfort.
The NAVIC Fit System enhances the overall fit by locking down the midfoot area securely, which can be particularly beneficial during more rigorous activities.
A standout aspect of these boots is their waterproof construction. You can confidently walk through puddles or damp grass without worrying about soggy socks. Just be mindful that the laces and zippers aren't waterproof, which may limit protection if fully submerged.
Despite its advantages, the Columbia Women's Peakfreak II Mid Outdry does come with a few limitations. The choice of colors is relatively limited, which might disappoint those looking for more variety. Additionally, while they’re lightweight, the materials may not provide the same level of durability found in heavier boots.

Like: the fit, color, padding in foot.Dislike: had to order twice due to sizing. Due to reading reviews.I wear size 8. Had to reorder size 9. Order up a size.Return was very easy.
My first time wearing Columbia boots & I'm hooked! Light weight, super warm & comfortable. They are a bit more than I usually pay, but I'm finding out they're worth it! My feet are happy now when I'm at work, especially when it's raining. I don't jump in puddles, but at times have to be out in the weather for extended periods of time & they've kept my feet dry. I don't like wet feet! So thumbs up 👍👍👍
Great fit.. true to size! Very pretty color.
I bought these for hiking but also for cute factor. They do the job. It’s a comfortable shoe with padding in the right places. The color is true to the photos.
Super comfortable, I use these boots as my daily walkers , they are lightweight and very comfortable. They give my feet good support and my ankles are well supported too.
Ordered my normal size 9 but these arrived feeling more like a size 10!Too big and naturally wide. They’re super comfortable, stylish and sturdy for hiking, 5 star shoes!
I liked that these fit like a tennis shoe. At a purchase price of $74, I ultimately wound up returning them though for the following reasons, all of which being that I would expect better material choices at this price point since you can get a pair of Merrells that will last forever for only about $10 more.1)The upper lace hooks are plastic. I don't see this being a durable material for this application2)The sole edges are a foamy sneaker material. Again, I see this as not being impact durable over time and susceptible to damage from rocks/sticks3)The bottom sole material did not seem very durable either, again more like what you'd find on a running shoe and I feel like would wear down pretty quickly over time.So mainly for the price point they're at, I think you can do a lot better in choices of materials. Comfort wise they were nice!
These boots are fantastic! They are fashionable and lightweight. I purchased for iceland and they kept me warm. When I wore them to England I wore light weight socks and they were perfect!
