When it comes to winter footwear, the Columbia Women's Moritza Shield Omni-Heat truly stands out due to its innovative features tailored for both functionality and style. The OMNI-HEAT system ensures that even in chilling temperatures, your feet remain warm without overheating, which is often a challenge in traditional winter boots.
The OMNI-TECH feature enhances the boot's capability by providing a waterproof barrier that doesn't compromise breathability. Whether you're walking through slushy streets or trekking in the snow, you can trust that your feet will stay dry and comfortable.
Comfort is another area where these boots excel. Thanks to the TECHLITE cushioning, you can wear them all day long without feeling fatigued. The lightweight construction enables ease of movement, making them suitable for both casual outings and more rigorous activities.
On varied terrains, the OMNI-GRIP outsole gives you the traction needed to navigate rocks, dirt, or gravel with confidence, minimizing slips, whether in wet or dry conditions.
While there are numerous advantages, consider the fit carefully, especially around the calf area, as the shaft circumference might feel snug for some wearers. Additionally, those living in warmer climates may find these boots too insulating.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a reliable pair of winter boots that combine warmth, waterproof protection, and comfort, the Columbia Women's Moritza Shield Omni-Heat is definitely worth considering. They not only perform well but also look good, making them a versatile option for your winter wardrobe.

I was wearing them to my trip to Everest base camp and Japan in winter. It worked very well. I’m happy with the purchase. Especially, walking 10-25kms a day was a blessing wearing this boots. Never got any problems with them, it was comfortable all the way, any condition. Warm enough for cold, not too hot when you get moving. The only thing is for extra cold (as well as high altitude) you might get 1 size bigger. At first I got my size and it was too small for 2 socks, i exchanged for a bigger one and it was perfect fit. Also very stylish. I felt pretty cool wearing this on the mountain. Although, I felt a little cold in -25C when summitted one of the mountain, but I’m skinny and my feet get cold very easy, so I guess it’s all good
I’ve been living in Alaska over two years. These are the first boots that have kept my feet warm. The Omni shield lining is the best. They do run small. I have very narrow feet so that part worked out great. Normally an 8-1/2 got 9-1/2, fit perfect.
The boots are narrow towards the ball of the foot, as others had mentioned. I ordered an 8 and typically wear a 7 1/2 and they fit comfortably with thicker socks. They keep my feet incredibly warm and dry. I've worn them for a few weeks now in snow, slush, and rain closer to upstate NY.Only downside so far is that there isn't a rigid structure to the opening of the boot and they tend to scrunch or smoosh down around the third shoelace hole when they're on. Not unsightly or damaging to the warmth of the boot, I just wasn't expecting the boot to feel like it was slouching lol.
These are really nice boots, they just run a little narrow and run about a half size too small for my size 11 feet. They don’t have half sizes so I had to return them. Otherwise they are really nice boots.
Order up and you will be happy! Super comfort and very warm
Overall this boot was just not for me. I didn't feel it looked how it did online. I'm not a fan of the style of this or the narrow fit so I returned
these work in NYC cold windy weather for sure and very comfy since i have plantar faciitis on both feet.
I have Raynauds which leaves me with very painful toes/feet in cold/cool temps. I love my Columbia coat with the Omni Heat technology so I really hoped these boots would be comparable. I am NOT disappointed! These boots kept my feet warm in 15 degree temps and I can’t say I’ve ever had warm feet in those temperatures!! I read the reviews and noticed that they tended to run small so I ordered a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. I wear a 7.5 but ordered a size 8. The footbed is a bit narrow but not so narrow that it bothers me. The size 8 fits me nicely with a pair of thick socks or two pairs of thin socks. I honestly can’t say enough great things about these boots!!
