These shoes have exceeded my expectations! I ordered true to size. When they first arrived, they were tight and I initially thought I would have to return.I took out the insole and walked without it for one day. Put the insole back in and fit perfect, no more tightness. I have walked on every terrain, except ice and snow, in these and they have outperformed any shoes I've ever had.
Excellent hiker, rugged. Very comfortable & waterproof! Love these shoes so much I bought a second pair in a different color! Great for trail hiking and road walking. Truly a great shoe. Super supportive and comfortable! I usually wear a 9 in regular shies but size up to a 9.5 in hikers and running shoes. The 9.5 was way too long and I sent them back and got a 9 which was a perfect fit!
Overall I like it, but I bought it for summer weather and it’s little hot during warm and hot weather. For my normal size 9, it feels tight
This shoes are great for the purpose, the price and the quality:PROS:Love the color paletteTrue waterproofvery good traction in wet/rocky/slippery terrainPrice is reasonable compared with other more expensive brands like MerrellQuality is awesome compared with other more expensive brands like MerrellVery conformableCONS:Runs a but narrow in the frontAvailability of other color and sizes is very limited (a pity for such a great shoe)
I need to start out by saying I LOVE my Br@@ks sneakers! BUT I walk my dog every day in a grassy area and every morning my shoes would get soaked through to my socks and my feet would be wet! I searched endlessly for a waterproof running/walking/trail shoes I found these Columbia‘s! The price was fair and the description accurate. If you look at the photos I wore them this morning for my walk and you can clearly see the color change on my original shoes as to where they’re wet and the Columbia shoes the water beaded it up. They are very comfortable too! I ordered the same size I wear in other sneakers and these fit perfectly!
They are narrow, but I guess I have narrow feet. I could have gotten my regular size, but I got half a size bigger. Now, I have some wiggle room. Very comfortable and look nice.
I keep looking for a waterproof shoe for an Alaska Cruise I will be going on. Because I wear a 12N, they are hard to find. I decided to try these shoes because people said they were narrow. My initial feeling was the back of my ankle where the heel notch is. On my other athletic-type shoes, that area is much softer. I wore these around the house with wool socks, which were better than regular socks. I found the shoe stiff, not just the heel notch, but the whole shoe. I was taught to never expect to "break in" a shoe to make it comfortable; if the shoe isn't comfortable when you try it on, don't buy it.Next, I added my orthotics because I wasn't getting very much support for me. That did not work at all. The toe box became too small.I hope these work for someone and I will continue to look for the proper shoes.
cushioned and fits hard to fit feet--a huge win.
