The Columbia Men's Redmond III Trail Walking Shoe is designed to be a lightweight yet durable companion for hikers who traverse various terrains. Its combination of a protective design, responsive support, and long-lasting comfort makes it an appealing choice. The upper construction features a blend of suede leather and breathable mesh, ensuring your feet remain comfortable during those adventurous hikes.
One of the standout features of these shoes is the Omni-Grip traction rubber outsole. This non-marking outsole offers superior grip on multiple surfaces, making it ideal for both rugged outdoor trails and indoor environments alike. Thus, you can trek confidently without worrying about scuffing up indoor floors.

When it comes to comfort, the Columbia Men's Redmond III shines brightly. The lightweight construction and Techlite midsole ensure that every step feels cushioned and responsive, making this shoe suitable for both casual strolls and strenuous hikes. The breathable mesh adds to the comfort by allowing adequate airflow, reducing the likelihood of sweaty feet during your adventures.
From a performance perspective, the Omni-Grip outsole excels in providing reliable traction across different terrains. Whether you're navigating rocky paths or muddy trails, the reliable grip keeps you stable and confident. However, it's important to note that while these shoes are designed for all-terrain traction, they are not fully waterproof, which may limit their usability in wet conditions.
The construction quality is commendable, particularly with the reinforced toe and heel areas that protect against wear and tear. The synthetic leather overlays provide additional protection, ensuring the shoe maintains its structural integrity over time. Furthermore, the gusseted tongue helps seal off debris, maintaining a clean interior even on dusty trails.
In terms of aesthetics, Columbia offers a range of colors, allowing you to choose a pair that suits your style while being functional. However, some users have reported that the shoes can feel a bit narrow, so trying them on before purchase might be beneficial.

Comfortable. Durable. Lightweight. They're perfect. I kept raving about how much I liked them so much, my wife made me get another pair for when I wear these out. Better than tennis shoes for sure.
I'm very happy with them. My brother in law has a pair and said he lives in them and are very comfortable. He's right. They're lighter than I imagined for a hiking shoe which is a plus too. I can't imagine a buyer would be disappointed with a pair.
These are very comfortable and have a great traction sole. I have metatarsal issues and with a metatarsal pad they have made a great difference. However the laces are the round slippery kind that loosen easily and are hard to snug up and stay snug. I might buy some different laces to see if they work better.I'm hard on footware and so far they are holding up extremely well. These are my dailys now so for me considering how comfortable they are if I got 6 months to a year I'd be happy and if they.re holdin up after 3 months I'll but a second pair.
Comfortable hiking shoes, great fit, classic looks. Not the cheapest but if you can get on sale, I’d highly recommend
excelente producto
This is my 4th pair of these shoes. I absolutely love them! They are extremely comfortable and durable shoes. I use them for work and play. I wear them for about a year before the tread wears out. I haven't had one single issue with them yet.
I love Columbia. They usually fit great. I didn’t even try these on. They looked a bit cheaper than I expected. I just went ahead and return them.
I was very hesitant to buy a shoe made by Columbia. I was entirely surprised. Extremely comfortable and I was blown away. Pretty water resistant, seems like it will hold up well. I cannot find anything to complain about.
