The Columbia Men's Newton Ridge BC boots triumph in multiple key areas that matter to outdoor enthusiasts and casual wearers alike. Firstly, the comfort is noteworthy thanks to the Techlite lightweight midsole, which provides ample cushioning for long hours on foot. Whether you’re hiking through rugged trails or just running errands around town, these boots adapt well.
In terms of traction, the Omni-Grip non-marking rubber outsoles deliver impressive grip, ensuring stability even on slippery surfaces. This makes them a reliable choice if you're heading into varied environments.
The water and stain resistance offered by the Omni-SHIELD technology is another significant advantage. It prevents your boots from absorbing moisture, allowing them to dry quickly after exposure to rain or puddles.
However, keep in mind that while they excel in many areas, there may be an adjustment period as they can feel stiff during the initial wears. For extreme winter conditions involving heavy snow, consider pairing them with additional thermal layers or opting for more specialized footwear.

Shopping for boots on Amazon is fun. Same boot, different color can save you lots of money so be sure to check. I got these boots for $60 and at that price I'm comfortable giving them 5 stars.Decent sized toe box. Easy to get on. I walk my dog in the forest each day on rarely groomed trails. For that purpose these boots are perfect. They are light enough to wear about for everyday use. They offer some ankle support but I would go for something heavier if I were doing multi-day hikes. They are warmer than shoes but certainly not the kind of boots you would wear if you were out for a long snow hike in the Minnesota winter. The "hairy suede" outer coving looks nice. Not sure how it will wear but no problems so far.
Would be better with eyelets in shoelace holes other then that so far so good.
Comfortable shoos, as described
I did not expect the quality that I got for this price. They look great and fit even better. I love them and am thinking of getting a second color.
Not heavy at all, comfortable, supportive. Great shoes, hope they last!
I have purchased 5-6 pair of Columbia shoes. They've always been very comfortable right from the get go. Not these, I've had to put inserts in them for mor cushioning. Dont know if these are knock-offs or Columbia shoes are losing their quality.
