When it comes to outdoor footwear, the Columbia Men's Crestwood stands out for its thoughtful design and construction. The blend of suede leather and mesh not only contributes to the aesthetic appeal but also enhances functionality by allowing breathability while providing necessary support.
The Techlite midsole is a game-changer, offering an elevated level of comfort that you can feel even after hours on the trail. Whether you’re ascending steep hills or navigating rocky paths, the cushioning responds well to every step, reducing fatigue significantly.
Furthermore, the Omni-Grip traction rubber outsole excels in providing stability across various surfaces. Whether you're hiking on muddy trails or rocky inclines, you’ll appreciate the level of grip these shoes offer. Plus, the non-marking feature means you can comfortably wear them indoors without leaving scuff marks.
However, like any product, they come with their own set of minor drawbacks. A few users have reported discrepancies in sizing, so trying them on before committing is advisable. Additionally, while they do require a slight break-in period, the comfort achieved after this short adjustment makes it worth it.

Great shoe, Wide width was really on target. Comfortable from the second I put them on. I just purchased another pair because of fit and quality. Well worth the price.
Some Columbia shoes give a sensation like walking on a 1/4 inch board. Not these, the soles feel substantial and supportive without going overboard. Compared to the Merrell Moab 3, the material and build quality are equivalent. The Moab may feel a bit more stable, but for me the arch support is over engineered and there is a seam that made them unusable for me.No such trouble with these Columbias. There’s just enough arch, and just the right amount of support. Very comfortable to walk in all day. They aren’t waterproof nor should they be, so they are breathable and my feet won’t sweat. Perfect for the colder months. If it’s slushy it really wet I have Kamiks and vintage Merrell duck boots.Overall these may be the best lower priced Columbia walking shoes.
Nice fit. Sharp looking shoes with looks to be excellent craftsmanship and comfort.
They are true to size for me, and comfortable. I took them on some long walks, and like them a lot. They feel solid.
These had one of the best fit I have had. Have a little extra room in toe box which is nice, perfect length and width. Has a neutral stance, not too much arch support. Somewhat soft feel and good traction. Does have some push off but not exaggerated like some other trail running shoe. I consider this to be a light trail runner but an even better walking shoe. Lighter than Merrill Moab 3 which they look and feel like
Well made. Good fit. Comfy
These shoes are lightweight and very comfortable. The construction looks good. I definitely would buy these again.
I bought these for my husband actually as a work shoe. He works outdoors and needs a good shoe for being g on your feet in the elements. He walks on average 15+ miles everyday. He loves these shoes. He said they are light weight and comfortable. They keep his feet dry as well, which is so important to him. I have just started buying these 3 pair at a time because he goes through them quickly. If you have an active lifestyle of walking or hiking, I would absolutely recommend these shoes.
