These shoes you can put on the first time and walk miles, no break in, no pain or uncomfortable areas. The ankle has padding, you can put your own orthodics in them. Just the Best walking shoe. I walk everyday, so put lots of miles on them. Wish they made them in black also.
I have the hiking boots but added these because I teach riding and walk a lot. Ariat has a great foot cushion and their products hold up well.
