When it comes to hiking, having the right footwear can make all the difference. The adidas Terrex Free Hiker Gore-Tex Hiking Shoes stand out for their combination of lightweight construction and advanced technology. In terms of comfort, the Boost midsole offers remarkable cushioning, ideal for those long trails where fatigue can set in quickly.
The adaptive Traxion outsole delivers excellent grip, ensuring stability on slippery surfaces. Users have noted the impressive traction provided by the Continental Rubber outsole, which enhances performance even in rainy weather—a crucial factor for any hiker.
Moreover, the GORE-TEX membrane serves dual purposes: keeping your feet dry from external moisture while letting sweat escape, preventing that clammy feeling often associated with lesser hiking shoes. However, if you're venturing into more rugged and demanding terrains, you may find the shoe's flexibility a bit limiting.
Overall, the adidas Terrex Free Hiker Gore-Tex Hiking Shoes are highly recommended for hikers seeking comfort and reliable performance in varying conditions. While they come at a premium price, the quality and features justify the investment for serious outdoor enthusiasts.

Adidas nailed it with there Gortex hiking boots! Went for a hike here in the Southern Oregon woods, just before Christmas. Feet stayed dry and warm even in the few inches of snow. These fit fantastic and are comfortable enough to wear for hours on the trail. They are also my go to for rainy days, running errands. Seem to get lots of complements and am asked where I got them. Think I’m going to pick up an extra pair incase they discontinue making this model.
I have wide feet so it’s hard to find comfortable shoes that will fit and give comfort. But I think I just found myself one after reading many reviews I decided to purchase these. I have tried to wear them on and walking with them all day long and they are the most comfortable shoes yet. My feet won’t get hurt or sore at the end of the day. The shoes are great for hiking! They are light weight, stylish, and they are very grippy at the bottom!
So comfortable! I put these on an walked a trail right away. Not even one hot spot or blistering! I love them
I just want addias to know that these shoes are a God send and not to change a thing! It is so hard for me to find a shoe that fits this well. Because the ball of my feet are a little large and most shoes squeeze my toes. I can walk all day in these shoes and still not want to take them off. Because they are so comfortable. Please adida... Don't change a thing!
WTF! GET YOUR DESCRIPTION RIGHT! These are womens sizes and not mens. What am i gonna do now? Im in another country and can’t return these.
I bought these for a winter trip to Phoenix/Sedona/Page/Death Valley where we averaged about 10 miles a day hiking. These shoes were amazing. My feet were dry, warm (even in 30 degree temps), supported, and blister free the whole time! The grip was fantastic even on slippery rock. Definitely wear taller socks. The best part was they’re so light compared with hiking boots so they were a breeze to travel with in just a carry on.
I did have to order 1/2 size bigger than normal. But amazing grip for slippery trails and steep trails. Good ankle support
