I work in a kitchen. I stand a lot. I move, from side to side, a lot. I don't walk so much but they have kept me steady on wet floors when I do. These shoes give me support and comfort. I love the "cheater" laces made of elastic that don't require tying. The ease of shoes on and shoes off is beautiful. I will admit with thicker socks it might be a bit tight but nothing a bit of wear won't fix. That's tight to slip on, once on they fit fine. The memory foam insoles do eventually wear out, kinda how that goes, but replacing them (with arch support in my case) gets more milage out of the shoes. I will definitely buy again when I wear these out.
I would only warn that they run small. I was impressed with quality of the shoe. I love the design, even cuter in person.
I own a pair of Sketchers Max Cushion regular tennis shoes not the slip resistant kind. Those are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn but they come apart very quickly. I’ve owned them for roughly 6 months and the bottoms are falling apart. I wear them on average 15-20 hours per week. Considering how comfy the regular trainers are, I decided to buy the slip resistant type regardless of the longevity. I work in a kitchen for 40+ hours a week and I need support and comfort. I was sorely, pun intended, disappointed. First, I have long, narrow feet with high arches and these shoes do not have regular laces. They have bungee laces, which I did not see anywhere in the description. So I was unable to tighten the shoes to properly fit my narrow feet. Second, the fit was very odd. My right foot fit fine and the arch hit me in the correct spot. The left foot did not fit well. The left shoe pinched my toes and the arch only came up the the halfway point of my arch. It felt like the left shoe was a half size too small. I did not have this problem with the other Sketchers I own. Third, these shoes feel NOTHING like the regular Sketchers Max Cushion shoes I own. These shoes are hard as stone. There is no cushion in these. I couldn’t believe how hard they were, so I had my teenage daughter, who wears the same size as me try a slip resistant shoe on one foot and one of my old shoes on the other foot. She said they felt like two completely different shoes with one being soft and comfortable and the other being very uncomfortable. I hoped that a break in period would help but after 4 days I had to give up. The fifth day that I put the shoes on, my feet immediately started aching when I stood up. The only way I think I could have made the shoes work would have been to add some insoles and replace the bungee laces with regular laces I could tighten. But at almost $100, I didn’t see why I should have a sink more money into such uncomfortable shoes. The material around the upper of the shoe is also very stiff and hard. So tightening the shoes would have most likely rubbed my ankles raw. The hard upper had already rubbed against my ankles and made them sore. I would never recommend these shoes. I also purchased a pair of the mens non slip for my husband and I had to return those for some of the same reasons. I’m writing a review for those under the appropriate product. I’m very disappointed that Sketchers claims these are Max Cushion when they are nothing of the sort.
I loved these shoes but I had to send them back as they were to narrow to be comfortable. But they were very nice and I wished I had gotten a bigger size
Cute! Size perfect , comfortable
These are really cute and true to size. However, I bought these because I work on my feet for 40 hours a week and need comfortable, supportive shoes. These are ok, but they are not the most comfortable sketchers. I have other sketchers that are way more comfortable, like the memory foam slip on ones, and those actually were half the price of these. These have a thicker sole and good arch support, but aren't super comfy. I tried adding an insert, but that made them to tight.
Initially, I felt they were too stiff and my feet ached liked mad. I suffer from several foot and arch problems.I decided to try a break in schedule, wearing them for 1-2 hours at work, then Over a few weeks, they sort of grew on me. I am on my feet for work, and I have to say, they feel supportive and keep me moving well in my day.
I love how they are comfortable good quality
