These shoes are very comfortable and the style of them is nice without looking to bland. I tried them on in a store before I bought them. 9.5 is my size and it fits fine. The band around the top is a bit snug for the top part of my feet (I have more fat on the top of my feet). But have stretched over time the past week or so. If you walk a lot they will break in real quick. I like the extra cushion in the heel, since I put most of my weight on my heels. I assume this will help give them longer life via the soul. Because there is extra padding in the heel, when I put them on I feel like my heel is just barely in the shoe. But they have not slipped out(the back part of the shoe sets just below the bend at the back of the foot) I'm assuming it's just me because I have been wearing the same worn out shoes for three years. I walk on gravel most of the time at work, these shoes have good traction. Comfy comfy comfy, will buy again if still available when these ones wear out.
No instructions. When I finally figured it out, the machine quit working in the first 10 minutes. Sent it back.
These shoes are really comfortable. There is plenty of room without feeling like a clown shoe. There is a medium rubber heel that absorbs a lot of shock from your step. The top and heel of the shoe is made of an elastic type material that gives and doesn’t rub. Also, the non-slip is no joke.I’ve tried a lot of work shoes! I highly recommend these.
Well, obviously, I didn't assume this would be as versatile and quality built as a $200 tabletop machine. So, instead of writing a lengthy review...if you want to do ANYTHING but simple hems...do not waste your money on this. Easier to go in the back yard and set some cash on fire.
I bought these for my daughter who got her first job as a greeter in a restaurant. They fit when she put them on and felt good but her feet did hurt by the end of her shift. I think that they needed a breaking in period to loosen up a bit. After about a week or so she said they were fine and she's been wearing them since. She misplaced them one day and had to wear a different pair and after work she commented that her Sketchers must be awesome with being slip resistant because the different pair she wore were terrible. She slipped all night. After we found her shoes (under her bed! Go figure!) she has happily worn them since. The price is right for Sketchers in general but the breaking in process isn't something we have ever had with this brand before.
I have a wide foot so I feel that the shoe fits a little snug on the sides. There is some discomfort near the end of an 8 hour shift but my hope is breaking them in more will fix that. Also, since there are no laces the area wear the tongue would be was uncomfortable for the first few wears. Again I have a wide foot and this shoe needs to fit snug because there are no laces. I feel that the shoe will become more comfortable over time but that is what will tell it, time. I will try to update my review. Now if you have a slim or average foot then this shoe will probably be great for you right off the bat. I have purchased sketcher work shoes in the past, they are my go to work shoe. Each pair typically lasts a year and have a very comfortable insole as do these. This is my first time try no lace shoes. It's really disgusting to have to tie a shoe that's been dragged through an unkempt dishroom! Not too mentioned the occasional sauce spill on your shoe, these area easier to rinse off then the typical lace up pair.
They were snug and comfortable when i first tried on and i thought they would be perfect, but after about 2 hours wearing them with thin socks (indoors, mostly standing) they were almost coming off as i walked. I normally wear a 9.5 womens size. Will return for a size 9 as I like them otherwise.Edited to add: received the replacement size 9, also stretched out an incredible amount with 2 hours, but i was still able to try them for about 4 hours before i gave up... again. There was little to no heel cushion so by hour 4 I changed into my old running shoes to relieve the heel discomfort. Returning these and will continue my never-ending search for a decent pair of work shoes
