The breathable mesh fabric upper enhances airflow, crucial for long hours on your feet, especially in warmer climates. One of the standout features of this shoe is its memory foam footbed. This layer of cushioning provides exceptional comfort, conforming to your foot shape and reducing fatigue even after prolonged wear.
On the performance front, the slip-resistant traction outsole is a necessity for work settings where spills are commonplace. Whether you're navigating a kitchen or a warehouse floor, the shoe’s grip instills confidence in every step. Furthermore, the inclusion of electrical hazard protection means you can feel secure while working in environments where exposure to electrical hazards is a concern.
However, it’s essential to note that some users have reported that these shoes might run slightly larger than typical sizing. It's advisable to try them on or check size charts before purchasing. Additionally, while they are very comfortable, those with specific arch support needs may find that these shoes lack sufficient support in that area.
Overall, the Skechers Men's Black Flex Advantage Mcallen Slip On stands out as an excellent choice for anyone in need of a dependable work shoe that doesn’t compromise on comfort or safety.

Declining quality, ive owned several over the years in the service industry. These are my go to, even outside of work. Theyre just easy to slip on and look good, and are comfortable. Its just the way things are unfortunately that they cut back on how well made they used to be, but I bought them anyway because they check the other boxes.
I have a wide foot and these shoes fit great. I got them in a 11 wide and no problems most other shoes bust out on the sides these have not yet.
They are not water proof at all. The we’ll resist a little bit off water. I wasn’t worried about that when I purchased them. I was worried about the support, comfort, and slip factor on wet surfaces. You won’t slip unless it’s sleeting on your floor. The balance between comfort and support is good. I’d work eight hours in the their slip on comfort walking shoes and I would slip all over the place. I expected that. What I didn’t expect is how much my feet would hurt after. With these shoes the pains never come. I’ve had them about a month now. If it goes 2 the same way I’d buy again for the price. If it goes four or more I’ll be over impressed.
I am impressed with the quality of the shoes.
I work as an executive chef 5-6 days a week 12 hours a day. I use plenty of different non slips but these have been amazing. Cool look to them as i like more of a sneaker look. Super comfortable i actually feel better in the morning putting them on.
I recently got these slip-on work shoes for a friend who juggles part-time shifts at a restaurant. These shoes have quickly become a game-changer for him, particularly when it comes to staying safe on the job.The mesh fabric upper of these shoes is not just comfortable but also practical. What sets them apart is the slip-resistant traction outsole, which gives him the confidence to move swiftly without the fear of slipping on wet or greasy surfaces. The elastic side gores at the opening make them easy to slip on and off, which is essential during those fast-paced restaurant shifts. They’re designed with practicality in mind.Safety is a top priority in the restaurant business, and these shoes offer that with their slip-resistant feature and electrical hazard protection. It’s reassuring for my friend and gives him peace of mind as he navigates the busy kitchen and dining areas.Comfort is equally important, especially when you’re on your feet for hours. The memory foam comfort footbed provides that much-needed cushioning, making those long shifts a lot more bearable. In summary, these shoes have been a lifesaver for my friend during his restaurant shifts. They offer the perfect blend of safety, comfort, and practicality, making them an excellent choice for anyone working in a fast-paced environment. They’ve become an indispensable part of his work gear, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
As a school cleaner that walks many miles a night, these work great. The slip resistance is good. The slip on and slip off design works wonderfully; it is soooooo comfortable and easy to put on and off these shoes. The size that I wear is difficult to find in many shoes, at a men's US 10.5 WIDE. The wide is important and people that suggest just getting the next size up don't understand what it means to have wide feet at the toe tips also; such that my pinky toe and my big toe will blow out the sides of a normal sized (even larger) shoe every time and that ruins the shoe. These 10.5 wide shoes are perfect for me.One knock I would say is that if you walk ALOT every day on concrete as a cleaner or something else, that you will want to purchase some glue for the shoe because the glue will wear out for the soles with many miles. Also, the insoles/inserts will need to be ripped out when you wear them out in about 10 months of walking, as they are glued in by the factory. The store bought inserts to replace them that you cut to fit work well and I dare say they might even be more comfortable!
The shoes have been worn for several years, and are generally good, very comfortable to wear on the feet, the only drawback is that the position of the center of the foot wears quickly,
