I normally wear a 9.5, think I would’ve been happier with a 9. It’s not a bother though, they slip on even easier now, I’m just used to my shoes fitting snug.Normally in the kitchen I work out pizza oven but a guy called out so I ended up working the fryer one night, and these thing pick up the muck back there like a magnet throughout the night. Obviously, oil splashes through the night, get on the ground, it’s to be expected. I’ve never had shoes grab this much crap from the ground before. And you feel every part of your shoe that’s not level on the ground, on the bottom of your foot. I had to take a second to go outside and spend a couple minutes scraping the crap off.For my normal work they’re great though, the most I get is flour on them, easy wipe off at the end of the night. Look great, and feel very comfortable when they don’t have anything clumpy on the bottom.Overall, would recommend to any kitchen worker that didn’t work the fryer! Definitely think they’re worth the money and they are not ugly work shoes, by any means! Also, order a half size under in my opinion
I've bought these three times and will probably buy again. I work on boats and they require black leather shoes. Not sure what these are made of but they're called leather so I assume they are. What ever it is they seem to be pretty durable and clean up super easy. They seem to be pretty water resistant which i appreciate. Guess I have narrow feet and find the regular ones to fit well after a week or so(would probably recommend the wide shoes for even regular feet because normally shoes are wide on me). Sizing seems to be accurate length wise. These have great grip. They have lasted as long a any shoes I've used for work(about 9 months to a year). Even though these are my work shoes I pretty much wear them all the time. Complaints I've heard from others that have had them are they are too tight and they get hot in the sun.
Very comfy.. but not really good if your over 200lbs.. hehehe
Looks really good, super clean style. Very good grip, they do the job just fine. They are like vans tho, uncomfortable. Get some nice work insoles, and then they are perfect. Not difficult to clean, except maybe the bottoms. I worked at a restaurant that had lettuce on the floor, which got all stuck up in the grips on the bottom, and I may need to clean it with a brush or something. However, the grip on slippery floors is very good, probably a trade off. Nonetheless, I'm very satisfied with this product.
Had these for less than a month and the sides started coming apart. Retain moisture and smell like mildew after a few trips through a kitchen after mopping or hitting a dish pit. I was happy with them at first… they just fell apart very quickly.
Wore these literally out of the box for an 8 hour high volume bartending shift. I wear a men's 11 and these fit perfectly with just the right ratio of roominess to snugness with great slip resistance. Easy to wipe off spills at the of the day and don't carry bleach spots like canvas. My back and feet felt great after constant turn and burn for hours nonstop. They lack a tiny bit of cushion, so I recommend some aftermarket insoles or decent padded socks. Great overall though!
Love this shoes. Comfortable and light. Doesn't feel it at all)) non slippery! Highly recommend 👍
I work as a chef in private homes. I wore these while cooking and never wore them outside. The outer layer of fabric bubbled and started to rip off. Very disappointed. Never buying again.
