The Reebok Work RB045 Women's Sublite Cushion Work Alloy Safety Toe is an exceptional choice for those seeking a perfect blend of style, comfort, and safety in their work footwear. Engineered to provide maximum lightness and flexibility, these athletic oxford shoes feature deep flex grooves that allow for a greater range of motion, making them ideal for the demanding environments you may encounter at work.
One standout feature is the Sublite foam midsole, which not only reduces overall weight but also provides soft support and cushioning throughout your day. The rubber pads strategically positioned on the sole enhance traction during heel strikes and forefoot takeoff, promoting stability without adding unnecessary bulk.
The breathable mesh uppers ensure excellent moisture transfer, keeping your feet cool and comfortable even during extended hours on the job. Coupled with a MemoryTech Massage footbed, this shoe adapts perfectly to the contours of your feet, delivering immediate cushioning relief.
Product | Weight | Breathability | Safety Features |

Another Brand A | Moderate | Medium | Steel Toe, Slip Resistant |
Another Brand B | Heavy | Low | Composite Toe, Waterproof |
When it comes to comfort, the Reebok Work RB045 excels with its thoughtfully designed elements. The lightweight construction significantly reduces fatigue, especially for those who spend long hours on their feet. The low-cut design not only provides ease of movement but also enhances an athletic aesthetic that fits well in various workplace environments.
The memory foam footbed ensures that each stride is cushioned, catering to the unique shape of your foot. This feature is particularly beneficial if you're working in roles that require prolonged standing or walking.
In terms of safety, these shoes meet ASTM F2413 standards, ensuring adequate protection against workplace hazards. The alloy toe cap delivers impact resistance while maintaining a lighter profile than traditional steel toe caps.
However, potential buyers should consider that while the fit is generally true to size, some users have reported that the shoe may be slightly narrow, particularly for those with wider feet. Additionally, arch support could be somewhat lacking for individuals who require more assistance in that area.

Let’s get to work! You can tell by my shoes that I have!I prefer shoes rather than boots. The mesh makes them breathable (to an extent but what do you expect from a composite toe work shoe?) The insole is cushioned well, and the color is just fun. (Gotta be a little fun at work ya know?)My favorite thing is it comes in a WIDE WIDTH. Oh thank the heavens! It’s hard to find a good shoe that comes with a wide option!Best to double knot or buy different laces… flat ones so they won’t come undone on their own.
I never have had to purchase steel toe shoes before however, I am recently started working at a warehouse. They are mandatory! To say the least, these are such comfortable shoes. I have a very high arch and constantly feel a lot of pain when standing on my feet without arch support too long. I used to have a different pair with no arch support and by the 4th hour of my shift, my feet would be in agonizing pain - to the point that I began subconsciously dragging them and my coworkers would notice and ask if I was okay. With these, I can work an 8-hour shift with no pain and still wear them after work if need be. And I do not feel the steel toe whatsoever and I did not get any blisters either when I began wearing or to this day. I am a 7.5 in women (in general in most shoes). I got a 7.5 and I’ve read some reviews of buying wide foot because thin foot would cause pain. And so I purchased 7.5 -wide-. Completely comfortable and they’re also cute. I love the colors; the blue and pink go so well together. I’ve also searched EVERYWHERE (it has been hard because of the current pandemic and online shopping), not many brands make steel toe for women and so it was hard to find a pair that would provide true support and smaller foot sizes. I would highly recommend these to anyone and plus they’re super cute. It’s even hard to tell that they’re “work shoes” because of how stylish they are. I searched everywhere and no other brands sold me by their description and details, and reviews as much as these. I searched from sketchers, to ASICS, to CAT, and so on. Highly recommend!! I assure you, you will not regret it!! You will completely fall in love with these! Plus they come with 2 pairs or laces. They come with blue and pink ones, but I recently changed them to the pink ones and they look so cute.
These shoes are great when you are sick of wearing boots everyday. If you work in a manufacturing environment with abrasive materials or hot (molten glass or steel) this will not be the shoe for you. It does wear in the inner and outer “mesh” corners. For some reason (don’t know if they are not breathable) these shoes make my feet smell… now on the hunt for a good foot spray.
I was in desperate need of a new pair of shoes for work! I am on my feet 90% of my day, and you wouldn’t believe the amount of steps I take daily! These shoes absorb shock very well, and are snug, yet comfortable for all day wear. Just how I like them!
The shoes is very light. But that's all there is to say about it on the positive side. These are the absolute worst shoes. Not worth the price. If you sit at a desk all day then sure it's fine. But if you are on your feet all day long. You might want to look elsewhere. I have worn these at my desk job, it's fine. Than I decided to check other aspect of the job for 10hrs on my feet. For a "week", I tested out my new shoes. Today is the last time, I will be wearing them. These shoes need to be removed off this site and burnt. These will kill your feet, if you are on your feet all day. Unless you enjoy the pain in your feet for 8 -10hrs., then by all means purchase it. You will regret it.
If you think you need a wide... get an extra wide. The shoe would have fit fine without the composite toe, but the toe box is way too small. I normally take a Regular size shoe, so I ordered the wide. I've returned these because they are too tight when I first put them on. I can only imagine the pain I'd have been in if I'd tried to wear these to work (12 hours standing on concrete).
These fit very well. My toes have plenty of room and they are strong and durable without being too rigid or uncomfortable. There is a little breaking in that needed to be done but that's normal and to be expected. These are great shoes and I know they will last a long time. One thing to keep in mind: I do use inserts with these, the memory foam insoles felt too thin without them but I always have the inserts for arch support and they're perfect with the inserts. Lots of shoes feel too cramped or small once I put the inserts in but I didn't have that problem with these.
I own a pair of these shoes in a different color - 6 months of wearing them in a busy wearhouse 4-5 days a week and they look practically brand new. They are comfy, lightweight and protective (they have some kind of sturdy lightweight material to protect the toes).Love the colors and how durable they are!
