Shoes are non slip and upper leather material. I wear these also when it's raining to avoid slipping on water and oily surfaces in parking lots. A great work shoe.
The size 9 was quarter inch too long and wider than normal in heel area, very well made quality shoes, so I donated them and know someone will be wearing them.
The shoe runs a little large; however, adding an additional insole made it fit perfect.
