I work in the restaurant industry and have had many close calls while walking through the kitchen to dining rooms. This shoe has the perfect fit, not loose and not stiff and the traction non slip on this was just spot on.
I bought these as a gift for my son who is a sous chef. He is on his feet in slippery conditions for long hours. These are the first of this brand he has had, and is thrilled with the non-slip, comfort and ventilation. Just the right amount of water proofing plus breathability. I don't think he'll consider any other shoes going forward.
If you like sneakers, that’s the shoe you want to wear for 10+ hours a day. Non slip resistant and very comfortable. Does need to be cleaned at the sole daily since it collects a lot of debris (working in hospitality/kitchen industry)
As a bartender these shoes are perfect. Slip resistant enough to handle running through a busy kitchen, yet casual looking and stylish enough to go out after my shift. Wore these almost every day for a year in rough conditions until they got a little raggedy and the laces broke off when I was pulling on them a little too tight. The shoes only grew to be more comfortable with wear and I still opt for my old pair if I’m going on a walk or running errands. They’re Waterproof enough to handle spills and small puddles, but I wouldn’t wear these in a very wet setting (brewery?)I recommend these shoes to anyone in a restaurant environment.
I use my shoes to open doors, tearing the tips off of most, however.. these have been very well put together, I would deff buy another pair..
Comfy. Water resistant. I just spray em off in dish no prob. watch getting degreaser on em(as with most stuff) the wax might degrade. Eventually started to rip at heel where canvas meets rubber, did not affect the water resistent quality of the shoe. And you can SKATE in them well. WILL REBUY.
I purchased an exact pair of these in 2018 they lasted for two years with heavy use, tried some others after and decided I liked how these looked and held up, to repurchase a pair in November of 23 and by February of 24 I need to buy a new pair again, with definitely less heavy duty work then I did prior.Very disappointing to see such a big and well known brand sink in quality , would have repurchased these over and over if they matched the first pair in quality
I serve in a sushi restaurant, and I bought these as my nonslip required shoes. They are not comfortable. The arch and bottom of the shoe is comfortable, but the laces and tongue are very uncomfortable. You cannot walk a lot with these on. I would not buy again. Not worth the money since these are pretty pricy compared to other nonslip shoes.
