My second pair! The first pair had a tendency to eat shoe laces up like no tomorrow. They look good and compared to other boots I've tried on or even worked in they are my favorite for many reasons such as:the padding on the inside, good looks, cool looking rubber sole (elec shock resistance) and fairly light compared to most metaguard boots, plenty of complimentsOnce they break in they are pretty damn comfortable and have saved my butt from falling hammers (thanks metaguard) Stands up to welding demands
On my third pair now been using Michelin for about 4 years in the welding field and no issues with these the guard is still intact on my other ones and I switch off from pair to pair. I just make sure to use saddle soap to prevent cracking of the leather and they last a good while
I have bought many pairs of boots over the years. Most all took a week or so for break in. These were the most comfortable I have ever experienced right out of the box. I am sold on comfort and protection. They are exactly as advertised and I will buy them again. Just, please, don't change the design. Every time I find a pair of shoes that work for me they get changed and are never the same.
My husband loves the boots, but they eat laces. The eyelets will get oblonged and cut thru the laces. He replaces them very frequently. Wish they could fix this issue. He welds and the lace cover keeps him from burning them, great feature.
Light weight comfortable! I ordered a little bigger
These boots are super comfortable and look awesome!! Quality boot.
Got them for an upcoming job so haven't gotten to really ware them yet but ibdidnone day to break them in and only thing I noticed is thry are heavy but that's probably a good thing so I dont have to worry about an I beam breaking my foot. Normally I only do pull on boots and stay away from lace ups but these ain't bad. Went ahead and got the Kevlar laces at the same time because of the reviews and they too feel like they will hold up longer
I bought these for my son for work, they hurt his feet so bad. I wouldn't recommend buying these
