The Emeril Lagasse Women's Cooper Pro EVA Food Service Shoe stands out with its combination of comfort and functionality. With the B.A.M technology integrated into the memory foam insole, the shoe adapts to the shape of your foot, providing unparalleled cushioning even after hours of wear. The molded EVA midsole further enhances support, making these shoes ideal for professionals in hospitality or food service.
Another significant aspect is the slip-resistant rubber outsole, meticulously designed with a lug pattern to prevent slips and falls, especially on slick surfaces. This feature is vital for kitchen environments where spills are common. Additionally, the water-resistant NeverWet treatment helps repel both liquids and food particles, ensuring that your shoes remain clean and free from stains.
Breathability is also a noteworthy characteristic thanks to the Agion treated sock liner, which reduces odor build-up. However, it's essential to note that while many users find the sizing accurate, there have been reports suggesting they might run larger than usual. As such, trying them on before purchasing or considering size adjustments could be beneficial.

The first few days with this shoe will wreak havoc on the back of your heel. If you put a bandaid under your socks, you can avoid this. These shoes are great though. They do run a tiny bit small, so if you’re between sizes, go with the bigger one (I’m usually a 7.5 and an 8 fit perfectly). They’re so comfortable and supportive. I was working 10 hour days and averaging 24,000 steps a day. My old shoes were killing me, but these actually kept my legs from hurting through my shift. I’d recommend these in a heartbeat. The nonslip works really well too
I got these for my job which requires nonslip shoes and after one shift my feet hurt so bad and I had a huge blister on my foot. I wore them a few more times because I hadn’t gotten new shoes yet, and my foot has started hurting so bad that I have to limp (even with the shoes off) because it so painful to walk on that foot. Also they were both too big lengthwise while one was super tight on the top of my foot and it was really uncomfortable.
I accidently ordered size 11 women instead of size 11 men and had to return them. The reason I ordered them is they were on sale and I wanted another pair to replace the pair I have when they ware out. I originally bought these because I wanted a wide, slip on water proof shoe to use when working outside on my horse ranch. You don't ware your footwear in the house after cleaning horse stalls or other ranch type work and I wanted a shoe I could slip on and off easily. I have to say these are without a doubt the most comfortable shoe I have ever had due to they fit my wide feet perfectly. I have worn these shoes wile doing everything from cleaning stalls to cleaning the roof and gutters and they work very well as long as your working on a fairly flat surface. They don't have the ankle support needed to use on uneven or steep slanted surfaces.
This is a great shoe. Especially for working in food service. Truly nonslip soles and very durable. The insert is comfortable for long hours of walking/standing. My only issue is the sizes have changed. I bought my first pair almost 2 years ago. After a year, I reordered the same shoe. The replacement is noticeably smaller. I tried to "break it in" thinking it was just new. Big mistake. Near crippling toe pain was the result. I returned these and kept the old ones. I reordered again recently, hopeing it was just a bad shoe. The same problem is still there. Eventually I just bought a larger size. The first pair are women's 12. I had to purchase Men's 11(at a higher cost). The 11's came in and are the exact size as the first shoe I bought. I have pictures of all three shoes. I don't know why they changed the sizes, but as long as you know, it's fine. These are still durable and comfortable work shoes.
It might just be my foot but one is comfortable and the other shoe is so tight and irritating. It’s also SUPER hot. After only a few hours of pacing around the kitchen in these, my feet get so sweaty (not matter what socks I wear). They are non-slip and rays to clean which is nice. But I’d say these are good in a pinch but not overall the most comfortable shoe on the market.
Honestly, I was a little worried about how they would feel/function after reading the reviews. But, they are the most comfortable pair of work shoes I have ever bought. I am regularly on my feet for up to 12 hours and my feet haven't hurt since day one of wearing them. I didn't even have to break them in. My only complaint is that the back heal of one of them rubs my ankle uncomfortably. But that was an easy fix. They move with my feet, they are great on wet floors and they are amazing for long shifts. If I had known about these years ago my body would have been so much better off
I wear a size 8.5 in women's Vans, so I got a 9. They fit almost perfectly everywhere except they were too short in the toes, so I exchanged them for a 10. The size 10 came in, so I tried them on hopeful that they would fit. They nearly fell off of my feet as I did my test walk around the house. I really wish there was a half size, but even then I don't know that they'd fit properly. They even looked great with my work pants, kinda like Crocs without feeling like the tops of my feet were exposed. As far as comfort, I feel like they might have been fine. The heel felt squishy enough, but the ball of foot could use a little support. As someone who spends 9+ hrs daily on my feet in the kitchen, I'm sad that these couldn't work for me.
They are great for walking out in the wet grass. I keep them by the door.
