Slightly initial tightness which quickly stretches to probably the most comfortable work shoe I've ever owned. The only issue is the short longevity. I average 6 thousand steps per day.I go through 2 pairs a year. But at the cost, we'll worth it.Highly recommend this shoe if you are on your feet throughout your work day.
I am a professional chef and have used these shoes for about six months. The fake leather started peeling back. The material or faux leather is not very good. The comfort of the shoe is very good. I repurchased the shoes due to comfort and economical price.
For the price this shoe can't be beat. That being said, it does tend to be a little tight at first (for a leather shoe slip-on that is not such a bad thing). The main problem is the longevity. Usually within 6 months I have some fairly major issues with quality ie. Leather cracking and peeling, sole coming loose from the shoe, ect. I am a catering chef that is usually on my feet for 9-12 hours a day in all sorts of conditions (deliveries) so that may have something to do with it, but these were supposed to be made by a chef for chef's so I expect a little better. Overall, these are the best "out of the box" most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and I plan to continue wearing them as long as they are being made at this price point and quality.
Only shoes my husband will wear. He loves the fit and how great they hold up for long hours. I love the price point. Not too expensive. Will buy again
I going to rate these at a 4 star only because they are a bit tight around the ball of my feet. They might stretch out some over time and I’ll adjust this accordingly if so other than that for the price these look and feel great. The slip resistance is really solid too. I got these instead of Mozo’s which I usually get just to see if the $50 price difference would show. So far I’m liking them just as much. Again as with the width, time will tell if they are worth the buy. I can usually get about a year out of Mozo’s at 50-60 hours a week standing. If they get close to that then I think I might have a new brand.Edit: I moved my review to 1 star, I’m sure for light work these might be viable for as I said before i stand about 50 hours a week in a kitchen. I’m 6’3” 240lb. I got these 1/20/18 and by about the beginning of April they were already peeling on the outside and the insole was literally destroyed. Maybe they have a weight limit on them I don’t know haha but I’m pretty sure I don’t go above and beyond they average chef/km as far as physical labor so for them to not even last 3 months isn’t acceptable. The outside I can almost accept, a kitchen can get hectic but the insole is probably the cheapest I have ever experienced. If I have to buy a $20 dr scholls then I might as well but the better quality shoe.
They fit right and are very comfortable. I’m a chef in a kitchen 10 hours a day 6 days a week always on my feet. I have purchased these shoes six times because I blow through them about every 4 months. Kitchen shoes are important to me so buying a new pair every 4 months is no big deal to me. I would like to see the leather or fake leather what ever it is not peel up. After the leather skin starts peeling they look terrible. Great price and ok for me to burn through them every 4 months. I’d recommend but don’t expect to get a year out of them. They are comfortable for about 4 months tops.
I like this shoe. It looks kind of dressy for a pair of comfort shoes and the anti-slip is a nice touch. However, anti-slip didn't mean it had great traction on ice. I would buy it again and recommend it. This is my current go-to pair of shoes for most occasions.
We now have 2 pairs, both in black because that was the only color available. My husband trudges throughwet grass with muddy areas & these shoes are a breeze to clean. Either they're water-resistant or waterproof! I've cleaned the outside with water & soap, & even disinfectant spray inside & out! Easy to slip on & off for my husband who has dementia. Wish they were available in more colors.
