I had a recent hip replacement (6 weeks) and total knee (3 years) . Being a Meat cutter, standing, and walking has been very painful on my feet. I have tried several different brands of quality shoes, and always had extreme foot pain after working. I am flat-footed also. These shoes, fit my wide foot, and give my flat feet just enough arch support , without the pain the other brands gave me. I was going to bite the bullet and buy custom 250 dollar orthopedic shoes, and decided to give it one more try. I am glad I did!. The soles are also very good on the oily clay tile floors. I recommend these to anyone in food service, with flat feet and old bones!!!
Size fits this shoes is more of a hard shoe but does have a comfortable insert for anti fatigue. The shoes durability is built great for waitstaff’s and kitchens use on the job.
Ironic of the shoe box to have "comfort" plastered all over the place when these are the least comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn. Feels like it's completely made of rubber (even the parts that are supposed to be comfy) and my foot was sore only after 5 minutes of walking around in these. I would NOT recommend them. In fact, I tried cutting up some of the material just to loosen it but the stuff this shoe is made of is inherently uncomfortable.Update : 2 Months in and my feet feel horrible. Never in my life has it felt this bad and it honestly feels like my nerves have been hurt. Replaced the shoes yesterday because they felt the worst they've ever. Horrible.
The shoe size was not what it said I had to stretch it by a quarter inch
I have been using for a couple of weeks now. I work about 50-60 hrs a week and these shoes has not hold up at all. They feel like im walking on the floor without shoes on. When i first put these ones on they feel great and about a few hours later (always on my feet) the foam compressed to (me) paper thin. So i will not recommend these shoes
Very good
Unfortunately these are the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn. They rub the back heal, they are narrow, and just unforgiving. I’ve been trying to break them in for a month. I finally just bought a different brand.I believe they’re sized small also. The one giid thing is they are sturdy
In a twist of irony, I'm going to tell you that these medieval torture devices are made petty well. They have all of the things they advertise and that you want in a work shoe, from a cushy soule, to waterproof and nonslip. But it's all undone in a way that is unforgivable once you get your foot in the shoeWhen the mouth opens, they include these stretchy elastic pieces to make them easier to put on which soundslike a good idea. But to do that creates more material on the inside of the shoe to hold it together. And mine rubbed, right on one particula spot on both of my feet right around each ankle. Inside ankle on the left foot, outside ankle on the right foot. To the point where after two uses since purchasing them, a mere 14 work hours, it destroyed my foot. Pictured are the areas that actually became wounded. Other areas just sore.I tried stuffing the shoes with paper towels to create separation which worked briefly until it didn't anymore. And even then, it just started running on different areas along the top of my foot where the mouth opens. I understand there are times when you need to break in a shoe but this ain't that. And I can't imagine at any point this is going to get more comfortable. But it's unbearable now.I tried to wear them for today's shift, even with bandages over the injured areas but it became immediately clear this was not going to work. I put on my old shoes these were supposed to replace and am returning them immediately and now I still have to find a new shoe.
