When it comes to performance golf footwear, the Skechers Go Elite 5 truly stands out. One of the most impressive aspects is the arch support. If you often struggle with discomfort during long rounds, the Arch Fit insole offers remarkable relief. Whether you are walking the course or spending hours standing, this shoe adapts to your foot’s needs.
The cushioning is another highlight. The ULTRA FLIGHT technology ensures that each step feels supported and light, which can be a game-changer when you're on the course for several hours. In addition, the waterproof feature is particularly beneficial during early morning tee times or sudden rain showers; your feet will remain dry throughout.
From a stability perspective, the low drop design allows for a firm footing, enhancing your balance when swinging. The spikeless outsole means you won’t have to worry about damaging the greens while still getting solid traction as you move from the tee box to the fairway.
Stylistically, the gray and turquoise color scheme is both modern and appealing, making these sneakers not just functional but also fashionable. Overall, if you're on the lookout for a balanced blend of support, comfort, and style, the Skechers Go Elite 5 is an excellent choice for any golfer.

These get weekly use whenever I play or practice golf. Right out of the box they are a bit stiff but with a little flexing here and there that is alleviated. No initial heel or other area of the foot rub when wearing them for walking. The soles do seem to be a bit less durable than on other spikeless and concrete should be avoided as it will immediately cause some wear down on them. The arch fit is a bit high for my taste so I had to replace the removable insole and replace it with one that has a lower arch support. These are a tad bit heavier than the arch fit offerings but not enough to be off-putting. The only real negative I have with it is in the toe box. It's wide enough but pretty shallow towards the tip so things can get a bit cramped up there. I am sure as they break in more though, this will be less and less noticeable. All in all, they are pretty much exactly what I was looking for in a moisture resistant golf shoe.
