Skechers Men's Max Golf Shoe

Bought these because I like their tennis shoes. First golf shoe of this type I have ever bought. They are comfortable.

After 16 months of golfing once a week, the rubber spikes have finally wore down. These shoes are very comfortable but like others have said the textile shoe does not keep the moisture out. But living in AZ, I really don't have to worry about that. Just ordered myself a new pair.

I have several pair of Skechers slip-ons and have really liked the comfort and fit. A friend purchased a pair of their golf shoes and he recommended them to me. So I purchased a pair. These are on the low end of Skechers' price points but there is no loss of quality. The shoes grip well and provide good support while walking the course. They're stylish and easy to keep clean.I would suggest that you purchase a pair about 1/2 size larger than you normally would with Skechers because they run just a shade smaller than some of their other casual shoes.Overall, however, these are a winner.

Just played my first round with these shoes. They fit as expected. They feel great! Just like a tennis shoe. I was curious how the spike system would work. I am a better player (about a 6 handicap). I have a pretty quick swing speed and often, my right foot will slip. I didn’t lose traction once in the round. After the round, I checked the wear. There is little to no wear of the spikes. Although I didn’t get them wet, it is obvious that the toe and heal section would be water resistant. The upper part of the shoe is fabric and breathes well. Just don’t step in any deep puddles and you will be fine. I will definitely buy these shoes again, given that they don’t blow apart in the next few rounds.

I have another pair of these in a different color and material. They are so comfortable that when I saw these at the incredible low price I paid, I immediately ordered them. These are the most comfortable golf shoes I can ever recall wearing. They are so light weight, it feels like wearing house slippers (an old comfortable pair). The spikeless system is excellent - better than other spikeless shoes I own. My only concern is whether there will be a wear issue in the future, but at the cost of these ... not a huge concern. Unless you simply don't like spikeless golf shoes (I cannot imagine ever going back to even soft spikes), I cannot recommend any higher. I have not really tested the water resistance of these, but I have other shoes that are fully waterproof. I am a firm Skechers fan for all my footwear.

I've used traditional golf shoes for some time now and wanted to try a spikeless tennis shoe style golf shoe. I'm glad i made the leap. These shoes are incredibly soft and comforting. I've played a few rounds already and didn't have any issues. They are mostly water resistant although playing in AZ isn't really a good test of that feature. And they are stable for the most part - what else do you expect from little nubs on the bottom of the shoe. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for comfort if you're the occasional golfer.
