When evaluating the Skechers Men's Go Elite 5 Slip in Twist Fit Waterproof Golf Shoe, several key aspects stand out. First and foremost, the comfort level is highly commendable. The ULTRA FLIGHT cushioning is feather-light yet responsive, which is critical during long rounds of golf where fatigue can set in quickly. It effectively absorbs impact, making each step feel cushioned and supported.
The Arch Fit insole is another remarkable feature, providing support tailored to your foot’s unique shape. This level of support helps ensure that you can maintain stability as you swing, reducing the risk of discomfort or injury.
In terms of practicality, the hands-free slip-in design is a game-changer. You can easily put the shoes on and take them off without hassle, while the Twist Fit system allows for a personalized fit that guarantees your foot stays secure throughout play. Additionally, the spikeless design offers flexibility and comfort, enabling smooth transitions from course to clubhouse.
However, there are some minor drawbacks. Some users with particularly wide feet might find the initial fit a bit constricting. Additionally, while the color variations are modern and appealing, options are somewhat limited. Lastly, if you're someone who prefers the traditional laced style for added security, this shoe may not meet your preferences.
Overall, the Skechers Go Elite 5 emerges as a formidable option for golfers seeking both style and function. With its thoughtful design and advanced features, it stands out as an excellent investment for enhancing your golfing experience.

Very comfortable shoes with excellent traction and so easy to put on
Has tightening mesh which does not work very well. But the shoes are very comfortable. Appearance is nice. Quality is very good.
Great for seniors
I've had 2 hip replacements, and LOVE slip-ins. Tying shoes is difficult. So I wear a regular loafer pair of Slip-ins every day! Thought they'd be ideal for my golf shoes too. Bought my normal size, 11 and couldn't barely even get them on. Too narrow. Sent them back and re-ordered an 11-wide. The first time i played in them I could hardly walk by the time I finished 18. Way too small! But the return instructions say the shoes must be in like-new condition. So, silly me, tried them one more time thinking maybe they had stretched. Same results. The shoe is at a minimum 1/2 size too small and narrow. It's either a design or manufacturing defect. And the vendor puts all responsibility on the customer for figuring that out!
Golf shoes are comfortable and fitperfect. Delivery greatand on time.
My husband had talked about these shoes since they came out, however he really did not like the wide white area around the bottom edge of the shoes. I did use an outdoor black paint and they do look better.
Style and fit
Initially, I liked these golf shoes. The "slip in" design is very easy to put on, very convenient. However, the adjustment device (Skechers calls it the "twist fit" closure") broke after about ten uses, which completely ruins the shoes -- I can no longer use them at all. Very frustrating! I understand there is NO WARRANTY on Skechers products, which is very disappointing considering the premium price. These shoes are now junk -- rather expensive junk.
