You might be wondering if the Skechers GO Men's Max Golf Shoe truly lives up to its promises on the golf course. Let's break down its performance in several key areas:
Comfort: One of the standout features of these shoes is the GOGA Max insole. This technology enhances cushioning and provides a noticeable rebound effect, which helps to cushion your feet during those long walks between holes. Many golfers report that they can wear these shoes all day without discomfort.
Fit & Design: The lace-up design ensures a snug fit, which is essential for maintaining stability during your swings. However, it’s worth noting that some users have experienced a slightly larger fit than expected, so trying them on before purchasing could be beneficial.
Traction: The spikeless TPU outsole offers versatility, allowing you to wear these shoes on and off the course. While they provide sufficient grip for most grassy conditions, if you often play on wet or muddy courses, you may want to consider traditional spiked options for better traction.
Durability: Made from synthetic materials, the upper is both lightweight and water-resistant. This means you won't have to worry about your shoes getting soggy during light rain or early morning dew.

I have worn many pairs of golf shoes over the years that were "okay" but not great. This is the first pair of golf shoes I've purchased from Sketchers. I read the other reviews about how comfortable they are, so I gave them a try. And I totally agree with the other positive reviews. These are super lightweight, comfortable, and nice looking. I can't comment on the durability, since I've only worn them a couple of times on the course, and I was riding in a cart. But the first time I wore them it rained moderately, and I got wet on the fairways and greens. I can't say, they are totally waterproof. But I can say that my sox did not get soaked, as with other golf shoes I've worn in the rain. And the shoes dried out in one day when placed near an open window on a sunny day, since they are made with lightweight materials. One last note about comfort and support: I usually have to put additional inserts in my shoes due to heel and arch problems. However, I don't need to use the additional inserts with these golf shoes. They are comfortable and provide good support right out of the box.
Great shoe for the price. Comfortable and have good traction. True to size. I prefer the wide version for my feet. Never gets hot. Stays dry in light dew. Not sure how well it would fair in wet conditions as I wear waterproof shoes when it gets sloppy. Perfect for good weather.
came in and was very comfy right out of the box
I was in the market for a new golf shoe and I looked into the Skechers Go Golf style, among many other brands. Geez, talk about a divergent price range for golf shoes. Anyway, settled on this brand and quite honestly they are one of the lightest, best fitting and nicest looking shoe I've purchased for golf play. I actually purchased the shoe using Amazon's try before you buy program because I was a bit skeptical for the price. So far so good and I will probably consider buying a Skechers shoe again once these wear out. And therein lies the rub. A good number of the rubber cleats will most likely grind down to nothing more than "bumps" over a fairly short period of time. I've used this shoe for maybe five or six walking rounds (staying off the concrete cart paths) and already several of the cleats show signs of wear, so I'm not expecting these( the cleats not the shoe itself) to last over an extended period of time. I like the shoe for its fit and comfort and that makes golf more enjoyable. Once you receive a pair and look them over, you will know pretty quickly if the cleat issue will be a problem for you. If not, I think you just might keep them.
What a comfortable Golf Shoe! This is my second pair! :^)
Love them, fit perfectly
I have a bad left foot, so I have to be very careful with shoe purchases. I ordered them “wide”, which is usually the best option for me. I have worn them to golf 3 times so far and couldn’t be more pleased. Great golf shoe!
Most comfortable golf shoe I ever bought!
