The FootJoy Men's Hyperflex Carbon Golf Shoe truly stands out in the realm of golf footwear. Its performance begins with the breathable performance mesh upper, which not only allows air circulation but also gives enough support during swings. You’ll appreciate how the shoe molds itself around your feet thanks to the OrthoLite Impressions FitBed, providing a snug yet comfortable fit right from the start.
The stability offered by the Carbon wrapped shank is particularly noteworthy. When navigating uneven terrain or making swift movements, this shoe ensures that you remain grounded. Coupled with the OptiFlex outsole, it encourages natural motion while still maintaining robust support for your ankles and arches.
Traction should never be an afterthought in golf, and the Hyperflex doesn’t disappoint here either. The Pulsar LP cleats enable you to grip the ground effectively whether you're driving off the tee or sinking putts on the green. Furthermore, knowing that these shoes are waterproof adds another layer of confidence, especially when the forecast isn’t favorable.
On the downside, some wearers have reported that the fit may run slightly narrow, which could pose a challenge for those with wider feet. Additionally, while the aesthetic is appealing, the color choices might be limited for individuals looking for something beyond the classic look.
Overall, the FootJoy Men's Hyperflex Carbon Golf Shoe is an impressive piece of sporting equipment that combines performance-driven engineering with practical comfort. Whether you’re hitting the links for a casual game or participating in serious tournaments, these shoes can help you focus on your game rather than your feet.

Extremely comfortable, great support, well constructed.
I usually wear size 12 and after trying them in the store I went for a size 11. I tried the extra wide version in the store and thought the wide would be a good fit but they still run quite wide and my foot is not 100% locked in the shoe when I swing. 11 regular would have been the perfect fit.For the rest this is the best spiked shoe i own, it is super comfortable, the sole is the right level of softness and firm, it is stable and somehow looking better than I thought it would.
Great shoes, prompt delivery
SUPER comfortable shoes!
I would rate these a 5 for comfort and a 3 for stability. The tongueless design is annoying, but I have gotten used to it. But I think they have over-engineered this product. I had an earlier version of FJ Hyperflex that I would have rated a 5 for stability and a 4 for comfort, so its hard to say that this shoe is an improvement. The more important issue with these shoes is quality of materials. After about 2 months use, the top lace eyelet on the outside of the right shoe split while I was tying the shoe. As a result, the shoe cannot be properly tied. See photos. Unacceptable for a $200 shoe.To make matters worse, FJ customer service has been terrible. Sat on my warranty claim with zero communication for 2 1/2 weeks. When I contacted them to check status, they told me that they couldn't view my iPhone pictures and that I had to convert them to .jpg. OK, but you guys are a bit behind the technology curve. After resubmitting, I was told I had to submit more pictures. Who knows when they will act. Will not be purchasing FJ's in the future.
super comfortable, great quality and run true to size. Have always been a FJ fan, very happy with this purchase.
The updated Hyperflex line (2023) solved last year's (2022) horrible issue with the heel collar blistering your achilles. However, there is less room in the forefoot and they made the midsole even narrower at the arch of the foot, which allows the shoe to easily rock and tip over. I typically wear a 15 wide (2E-4E) for most running shoes, and a 15 Wide in Adidas's ZG line is a perfect fit for me, for comparison. 14 Wide on last year's Hyperflex BOA model was a perfect fit (though the heel issue made them impossible to wear). 14 Wide is now a snug fit in the width department, while length is still good for me.These basically look like wearing socks and are a stark white textile finish. I would worry about them being difficult to clean, becoming instantly discolored and filthy looking after a round.
I haven't had to purchase golf shoes in a lot of years and read multiple reviews for this product. I'm very happy with these shoes. kept my feet dry, but yet breathable, and good grip. Love them!
