The FootJoy Men's FJ Fuel Golf Shoe impresses with its combination of functionality and style. The easy-to-clean synthetic upper is perfect for golfers who want to keep their shoes looking pristine without much effort. The Stratolite EVA midsole offers superior cushioning, helping to mitigate the stresses of walking over the golf course's undulating terrain.
The patented Stability Bridge is a standout feature, enhancing your stability and support throughout your swing. This is especially beneficial for maintaining balance and control when executing shots. Additionally, the Pro|SL inspired outsole technology gives you unparalleled grip, ensuring each step feels secure across different surfaces.
For those seeking comfort, the LASER SPORT LAST fits effectively across the forefoot and instep while providing a slightly narrower heel. This helps maintain a snug fit, particularly for athletes actively moving around the course. However, it's worth noting that players with wider feet might find this shoe less accommodating.
In terms of aesthetics, the white/black/orange color scheme is both eye-catching and contemporary, making these shoes suitable for both casual and competitive play. These shoes are fantastic. I was looking for a comfortable shoe for lots of walking. I play 4-5 rounds a week walking. I am a 'dew sweeper" first off the tee box so I needed a good water proof shoe. I was concerned about "grip" to the earth so I can get the most out of my swing as I 'come out of my britches' on long par 5s. The traction is actually much better than my aggressively spiked shoes. I have not worn my old shoes one time since I used these. If you are looking for a durable, comfortable, and stable shoe, this may be for you...it sure was for me!
Can't go wrong with Foot Joys. Gave these to my brother in law for Christmas. He said these are the most comfortable shoe he has ever owned. I mean they didn't fix his slice but at least he has some comfort in his feet. 🤣
Fit great, look sweet, comfortable after 18. Sort of waterproof, but solid quality
Bought these for use during driving range sessions. I was impressed with the overall looks and the comfort (for me, at least) is excellent; having rather narrow feet, that was especially important. If there is one area where I was rather disappointed, it is the composition of the sole: it feels like some kind of TPU or urethane-based compound rather than a rubber-like one. This means two things: one, it's rather hard to the touch, as it lacks the flexibility of a rubber-like compound, and two, walking on any surface other than grass is slippery. My apartment building has terrazzo floors in the lobby and I can see sliding there if I'm not careful. I came to FJ from Adidas shoes, which use rubber-like soles with excellent grip on all surfaces, so this was a major letdown for me.Of course, if you're only using these at the golf course and not wearing them there (as I do) then you'll have no issue, but I felt it needed mentioning. It's also possible that after a few wearings it would gain grip, so we'll see.
I cannot offer a valid position at this time. I tried them on, they fit fine. Very comfortable. However, I haven't had an opportunity to play golf as yet. I'm quite sure I'll be very pleased, but if I hit the ball in the water more than once, and miss several three foot putts, I'll blame the golf shoes.
Great shoes, light, confortable, water proof ( to where the holes are) and super stable! No blisters at all.
I’ve been looking for golf shoes for a while now and saw these at a golf course for $160. I found them on Amazon for $60 less so I ordered them. I’m a 9 1/2 wide so decided to order a size 10. It worked but a bit tight with socks. These are FootJoys so they’re water proof. Also the design and construction finish is incredible. I got compliments on how great they look. Great shoe you won’t regret buying these if you want a nice style at a great cost.
I’ve never had pain in my feet from shoes, track cleats, golf shoes, anything. Until I got these. They look really good but the material near the toe is pretty cheap and feels like I can warp the hard shelled fabric if I were to push my finger on it hard enough. As for the foot pain it’s in the sole of the shoe near the back of the foot. Feels like you’re walking on a garage floor. One positive is that they stay pretty white. they look good and it’s not terribly painful so I’ll give them 3 stars.
