Best golf shoe I have owned. I'm not an avid golfer but have worn several shoes over the years. This pair will be my go to shoe for all purposes. Comfortable, looks great, easy on/off with BOA, super traction (at least in dry/semi dry conditions, exquisite construction ... did I mention comfortable?? Ecco knows what they are doing with golf shoes. I like the Jordan brand and several Foot Joy pairs always tweak my interest and my wallet. I now even have a pair of Under Amour (those are good too). These will be my best and I only hope the soles last as long as I plan to wear them.
These shoes are buy far the best quality and most comfortable around.
I have a golf shoe collection of every major brand. You could argue the design is bit "unique" with the BOA style knob on the shoe, but if you're looking for comfort right out of the box, durability, quality, and performance-I find it hard to top Ecco. And this model sits at the top of the list. The leather, the insole, the fit and finish all exceed expectations and the quality in workmanship really sets this shoe apart. I did notice it was half size off but after removing one of the additional insoles, that Ecco, intelligently includes, it fits like a glove. I've not played many rounds yet in these and will add an update in 6 months after the shoes have some experience.Now that I’ve owned the shoe for several months, I will add that my comments stand for the comfort, durability and overall satisfaction. The BOA system, although very convenient for putting on and taking off the shoe has proven challenging in maintaining appropriate attention given the stretching of the shoe I’ve purchased two other pairs since and went with the lace versions.
Nice fit, I like them because when I travel and have to take my shoes off I won’t have to bend and tie them all I have to do I click and twist… lol
I really like these shoes so far after playing 3 rounds while wearing them. I will say that they are slightly larger than the normal fit but will keep them as the next size down that is available would be to small. I only mention this so if someone is on the fence about size like a half size difference, they may want to go with a smaller size.All in all, they are very good golf shoes.
