These are great golf shoes. Super lightweight, comfortable and supportive. My favorite pair yet
I'm LARGE and these still provide a solid footbed for the backswing while still being "cushiony". Great hot weather shoe.
Adidas makes a great shoe first and foremost but these are top notch. I love the fact that I can switch between the attached spikes the bottom and just a regular spikeless golf shoe..I haven't gotten these in the wet weather yet but these are very breathable material here in the state of Florida as I've hit a few rounds with these and my feet feel wonderful on them.. you can really tell the quality when you're walking in these as there's nothing that moves around awkward if they fit you and your foot correctly.. I'm a size 11 and a half and the 12 fits perfectly..Beautiful golf shoe..
I have owned a lot of golf shoes and liked most of them. These are a step up from any shoe I currently own or have recently owned. I have at least 5 pairs right now including another pair of Adidas. These have great feeling insoles, although I may have to switch them out for the orthotics I normally wear. Supportive with a just right amount of cushion. I normally wear size 12, and these fit well. They also have a good lacing system. The eyelets are rectangular, the laces are flat, and when you pull the laces tight through the eyelets, they stay in place. The laces are also kind of sticky and stay in place when tying them. The thing I personally like best is the way these shoes lock your heel in. They fit very well around the heel with no points of irritation. I have a little problem with heel slippage in some shoes. These do not slip. At all. To complement that, the toe box is roomy. As far as traction goes, these are incredible. I have worn them just once to play, and they have so much traction, it threw me off. My right heel technique is not the best, and these stuck to the ground so well, I couldn't do my normal sloppy slide. I cannot comment yet on how easy they are to clean. I sprayed them with a waterproofing spray. It was a just a little wet yesterday, and my shoes came out of the round looking really clean. Time will tell with my opinion of the mesh material. So, my final thoughts. They lock in my heel completely and with great comfort. They have a cushioned insole. The insole is a thick insole with arch support. Traction is so good; I don't think you could find better. It is a very comfortable shoe to walk in. Fits well with a roomy toe box. If you can't tell, I really like these shoes. They are a great pair of golf shoes. Now off to practice my right foot technique....
Comfortable, firm fitting golf shoes. Size fitting aligns to adidas shoe sizes. The cleats under the shoe provide firm stability on the course. These shoes are heavier than my three other golf shoes so will be ideal for local courses where I don’t need a travel bag and for courses that may be wet/damp and extra traction is needed.
These Adidas Zg23 Vent Golf Shoes (Blue) are a SUPER comfortable golfing shoe. Adidas took some of their running shoe technology and implemented it in this golf shoe. Things like the waterproof mesh upper, premium cushion, added stability, lightweight materials, and traction. I have a narrow foot, and Adidas tend to have a wider toe box for my foot, but I felt this golf shoe was a good fit overall for me and true to size. The cushion used is not from the boost line, but they do have a similar feel to boost comfort in my opinion. Foot fatigue is pretty much a nonissue in these golf shoes, and that definitely helps to justify the cost. The bottom cleats are made of a harder rubber material that will likely wear down if you are the type to drag your feet on harder surfaces. I am a novice golfer, so I won't say these are "game changing" for me, but I do notice I feel more grounded and stable vs my Puma Ignite golf shoes. I do like the nylon quick lace system on the Puma so I would prefer to have that style of lace system on the Zg23 instead. Will these turn you into a pro golfer, probably not. These will make golfing a bit more enjoyable though, knowing your feet are comfortable for 18 holes, and the added confidence of stability during each swing. If you are going to golf even a few times a year, consider picking these up for your next pair of golf shoes. Don't pay full price, you can find sales frequently on these shoes.
The Adidas Zg23 golf shoes were ordered for use when practicing and playing golf.I have owned Adidas golf shoes previously, and have to admit they were one of the most comfortable golf shoes I have worn. These shoes, though not leather, are also just as comfortable. It did not take me very long after receipt to determine how much I like them. The mesh throughout the shoes sure lets the air in and heat out. I don't believe I would wear these when it has been raining & wet, but for dryer & warmer weather golf these shoes should be great.First, I wear a size 13 D (medium), and have worn golf shoes in this size for many years. I tried them on the day of receipt in a thinner pair of socks, and they were a little loose in the width. The next time they were worn, a pair of socks was put on that would normally be worn when playing golf. The shoes fit perfectly. They are comfortable when walking. In addition, when swinging a golf club, I found that the shoes provided me with ample support & stability in the front toe area, the heal, and across the shoes. I did not experience any movement in the shoe. Also, there is a slight amount of cushion in the arch area that felt good when walking and swinging a club.BOTTOM LINE: The price of these shoes is competitive with better quality leather golf shoes. Thus, it would come down to a matter of choice of whether one prefers a pair of leather golf shoes or would be comfortable wearing some mesh-vented shoes. The shoes are comfortable while walking and playing golf. It is my opinion that one should wear these shoes with a thicker pair of sports socks. I would definitely order a pair of these shoes again.
