I am a size 42.5 in Europe. Converted to US size, that is usually a women's size 11, but I've noticed that this only fits in certain brands and that an 11 is too small in others. However, because most women's shoes only go up to size 11, I do take a chance every now and then. I was concerned when I received these ZODIAC Women's Sadie Ballet Flats in size 11 and saw on the box that they equated to a 42 rather than a 42.5. I checked the reviews that had been left since I ordered and found several people complaining that the shoes they had ordered were too small. I was surprised by the other reviews after trying them on. These ballet flats were a perfect fit for me. Nothing was pressed against me, and I had plenty of space, both at my toes and on the sides. My second toe is often cramped because I have a Greek foot, but not in these shoes. I also have flat and wider feet, but there was plenty of room for me in these shoes. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that they are possibly a little too wide, as they open slightly on the sides when I walk. The front of the shoe also nicely covers my toes. Based on the other reviews, I wasn't expecting to like these shoes as much as I did. They fit well, are comfortable (they have a cushy sole), and appear to be of high quality. I'm not sure why my experience differs, but I really like and recommend these ballet flats.
