I have gone through about 10 pairs of black flats looking for the perfect pair. They either give me blisters on the heel, or cut into the top of my foot...or both. They're either to shiny/sparkly, or too plain, or are too decorated, or look like a teenager or my grandmother should be wearing them, or they're too dressy, or too casual, or look to cheap, or are too expensive...uuugggghhhh! But after years of searching, I found these and am completely in love with them. They are affordable ($19.99 on sale), they fit perfect after about a day of breaking them in (the back comes up a little high and was a little uncomfortable at first), they aren't shiny or too dressy, though you can dress them up or wear them with jeans. They have a cute subtle snakeskin like texture that makes them very pretty and feminine and classy. I wear a 9.5 usually (and have a medium foot) and the 10 fit me perfect. They completely formed to my foot in a matter of days and I can wear them without any discomfort even when I have to do a lot of walking (I'm pregnant also so this is extra important). I highly highly recommend buying these!
Cute and comfy shoe.. I got them in Burgundy - the color is soft, almost neutral. I love the faux snake skin for a little extra "edge" and their versatility - I have worn them with gray slacks, brown slacks, and with jeans. They fit as they should - some have complained about the metal grommet in the back on the heel, but I don't feel it at all. I will definitely buy more in other colors.
These are not supportive. The soles are thin and flat. I wear a size 9, and that's what I ordered. They fit fine. They aren't spectacular. They are what I would hope to get from a pair of $20 shoes: decent-looking and comfortable if you don't have foot issues. They are good for casual outings with casual outfits. I walked the streets of NYC in them with thin socks on. One of the shoes did rub a bit on the top of the heel. Some thicker socks might have helped, but I still wouldn't call them walking shoes. They are the sort of shoes that will do in a pinch. For that reason, I would have given them 5 stars if I hadn't had to pay shipping.
True to color and true to size. Although since it is a ballet flat and scrunches, I would go with the bigger size if you tend to fall between two. I bought the "ice" or neutral color and it has just enough texture to keep it interesting, but not so much that it's distracting or unprofessional. I normally don't like the snake/animal skin look, but I really like these. Can be worn casually or dressed up a bit. Best of all, it's very comfortable! I am on my feet all day and it doesn't rub or chafe, or slip off the back as I walk. I'm very pleased with these shoes!
These are a great shoe for the money, assuming you like the style. The fabric is nice, with a subtle snakeskin pattern. The toe is relatively pointy and the sole is really thin. The inside looks much higher-end than you would think. They fit true to size, but the elastic at the back can get really uncomfortable.I don't love these, but I prefer a rounder toe and I've now realized that I don't like the "curly", elastic-back style. If you like the pointy toe, curly shoe thing, these are great!
These shoes are kinda cute, but:-sizes are inaccurate - shoes are almost a full size smaller than indicated-colors are inaccurate-the snap on the back of the heel/ankle digs in and is painful-overall, the quality is very cheap and flimsy, so should be dirt cheapThe 'blush' color is actually 'shady rose' (a brown-hued rose color, rather than the brighter pink shown in the photos). Even if I had liked the color, the sizes are very small - Inside the size six-and-a-half shoe is written '36 and 1/2', which means it's actually a size 6. Too small and tight for my true 6 and 1/2 feet. Also, the snap on the back of the ankle/heel area has a strap which folds inside and is sewn there - it digs into the back of the heel/ankle and is quite uncomfortable after half an hour of just sitting. Finally, the material and craftsmanship are the cheapest, and the price should have stayed at 12 dollars, rather than being suddenly increased to 25.
I read the reviews for this shoe and was a little skeptical about placing the order, but I am so happy I did. I hurt my back and for the first time in my life I have had to purchase many pairs of flat shoes for work. Out of the 6 pairs I have bought thus far, these are the MOST comfortable. My other ballet flats I have had to put place an insole into the shoe for comfort, but not with these. They fit true to size and the concern with the back snap digging into your heal is not evident at all. I am very happy with this purchase.
It is so hard to find a good pair of flats these days. They are either too expensive or down right ugly! I had a pair of gold snake skin looking ones a long time ago which I loved, so when I found a similar pair on here I just had to get them! I bought the gold and royal blue. OMG I was sooo happy when I opened the box. They are super cute and look so classy with any outfit. Dress them up or down. I usually wear a size 8 in heels so that they fit snug, but I decided to go 8 1/2 with these flats. They fit perfectly! I was able to wear them all day with no problems. I am going to buy more colors, but the gold and royal blue are very nice. I've been looking for flats just like these all over and I have finally found them! UPDATE: 12/3/15I will have had these flats for 3 years this Spring. I have black, gold, pewter, green and royal blue. They all still look in great shape and still happy with the purchase.
