This shoe is extraordinary. It runs small so buy one size up. It is very formal and comfortable on tiny soles. This shoe last is the entire school year and has once last us a school year and a half. It was harder to find the pattened fashion in the sizes I needed this year, really hope UMI continues to make this shoe.The shoe does not chip at the front like most uniform uses and last the daily activities of my kid ages 4-8.
My three year old loves these shoes! They fit a tad on the small side and are stiff, which is why they got 4 stars instead of 5. But they hold up well to the nearly daily wear by a very active 3 year old girl and they're very cute--also, she can put them on herself.The strap is a tad on the long side though, so it can snag tights if it's not fastened carefully.
It's not for "chubby" feet :/ Tight around the feet, and scuffs very easily!

Very well made shoes soft well padded insoles, flexible. The only reason I returned is that the silver color was just too shiny for everyday shoes. I also prefer a neutral color soles not black same as the one on the gold shoes. That is my personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality and workmanship which were very good. This was a gift for my toddler grandchild.
These are nicely made toddler's shoes with a very soft and flexible sole. They fit well and do not seem anywhere near as stiff and constraining as do many shoes of this type.The classic style looks and works well, and the price is reasonable for this level of quality.
These shoes seem very well made, but fit much narrower than Pediped or Stride Rite SRTs. The red color is gorgeous - a deep, rich, candy-apple red. Rather than returning these, we gave them to a deserving friend with smaller feet.
