My girlfriend has one other pair of TOMS, the standard brown canvas ones.These, by her words, were a little uncomfortable at first. However, over the next week or two she said they broke in and are almost as comfortable as the regular TOMS.She has only had them for a few weeks, but as they wear and get older I'll update if they have any significant problems.I don't regret buying them for her on a whim, and neither should you.It's worth noting that my girlfriend has really small feet (size 5), and these fit quite well. Not that easy to find shoes that fit for her.
These are AWESOME shoes. I own a lot of TOMS (24+ pairs and counting), but these are one of my go-to shoes for every day wear. They are perfect for the beach and summer weather, and the natural color matches with just about anything.As with buying other TOMS, you would need to size down a half to full size because they stretch over time. One thing to consider, however, is that that TOMS shoes are notoriously inconsistent in sizing. That means that you can buy 2 pairs of the exact same shoes, and one pair can be CONSIDERABLY larger than the other, even though in theory, they should both be the exact same size. In fact, I have even received TOMS where one shoe is noticeably larger than the other inside the same shoe box. This means that if you KNOW you are a size 5 in Toms, and the shoes you received are too big or too small, you may want to try another size 5 again because the pair you received may have just been "off." Luckily, Amazon has an awesome return policy, so exchanging is never a problem.I will be going to Europe soon, and these crochet TOMs along with the glitter silver ones are coming along with me!
I love these for the feminine look and easy wear but they squish my baby toe and the coarse Lacey fabric rubs it so it feels like a blister at end of day. I still wear them but I can’t wear for 2 days in a row as it’s too painful. Otherwise the shoe fits fine. I am a salesperson in a showroom so I’m on my feet a lot during the day
These are great. They seem to be a touch more snug than other canvas toms of the same size, but overall fit as expected. I ordered these a half size smaller than my sneaker/boot size which is customary for toms and they fit perfectly. The crochet is durable and again maybe not as stretchy/flexible as they may appear in the photo, but I'm happy about that because they seem as sturdy as the original toms. Light and airy, but have a canvas reinforcement inside the toe so that they last, nice.
I needed a 'business appropriate' shoe for traveling for work, as I cannot wear sneakers I need an appropriate option that is good for walking around all day. I didn't want a 'grandma' style shoe, and this Toms shoe was perfect! So comfortable, I love that I can slip it on and off, and it looks great with dresses or skirts. I wore this ALL day, and did not experience any discomfort.
These are great for summer. I love wearing them with a summer dress. And they are just nice enough to wear to the office and still be casual to wear out and about.
The standard Tom black cloth shoe is great. My flat feet didn’t look right in the crouched style Tom’s.
