When it comes to choosing a reliable slip-on shoe, the TOMS Women's Avalon Slip-On stands out with its thoughtful design and commitment to giving. The fabric upper is not only visually appealing but also ensures breathability, making it suitable for warm weather. The ease of slipping them on and off is a significant advantage for those always on the go.
The cushioned footbed provides decent comfort for daily activities, though it might lack the robust arch support required for prolonged standing or walking. The rubber outsole adds a layer of durability, ensuring that these shoes can withstand regular wear and tear.
Additionally, caring for your TOMS is simple; they are machine washable, which is a significant plus for maintaining cleanliness. However, it's worth noting that fit can vary, and some customers have reported sizing discrepancies, so trying them on before purchasing would be ideal.
In summary, if you are looking for a stylish, comfortable, and socially responsible footwear option, the TOMS Women's Avalon Slip-On in Sky Blue is an excellent choice. Just keep in mind the potential need for careful consideration regarding sizing and support for extended use.

I was big fan of Vans, but the last pair I ordered literally fell apart within 6 months, so I gave these Toms slip-ons a try. This pair was on sale and I was specifically looking for black so I ordered them. They fit perfectly right out of the box! I was able to take a walk that day without socks and had no rubbing or blisters. The style is casual and versatile… I can wear them with jeans, shorts or a casual skirt and they look nice. They are easily washed in the laundry on cold. I got a second pair of Toms in light blue in a slightly different style I liked them so much!
So these are great I wear them with my nicer outfits. They're the perfect size for me and they don't rub on the back of your heel.
Avalons are probably my favorite Tom’s shoes so far. I like that the sole has some thickness and cushioning. I like that the rubber wraps around the canvas along the bottom, giving it a clean look. I got these in black in my normal size for Tom’s. I am usually 7-7.5 in most shoes (8 in running shoes with socks), and I am reliably 7 in all the Tom’s I’ve tried. The fit for these in 7 was perfect, slightly close/snug when I first put them on, but stretched to perfect in the first hour or so of wear. Just a note- I always wear shoes like these with a thin no-show foot-liner, so take that into account for my sizing experience. The black is great and I can wear these with almost anything. They arrived in the Tom’s box, with tags, and all the expected markings for Tom’s, so I trust these to be authentic. I wish Avalons were easier to find, but I am glad I found them here. I actually got a second pair while I could!
I have a pair of these that have a different upper (I'm not sure what it is, but it's not leather or canvas) and I found them to have stretched to the point of them being sloppy and uncomfortable. I bought these (coated canvas) in a half size smaller, figuring they'd stretch as well.So far, no luck. My foot is really crammed in there. I guess my advice is to try them on at home, and some materials stretch more than others. As for the show, it's very comfy for a canvas shoe, with nice padding. I like that they're simple.I have the black coated canvas and there's just a tiny bit of a sheen, not an exaggerated shine.
I absolutely love these shoes. I've been skeptical of Tom's for a while (I have no idea why, I guess I just assumed they were probably overpriced and the quality wouldn't match up), but I'm really happy that I took a chance on these. My feet run a little wide, but it's not a problem at all - these fit well, and the material has enough give to accommodate a wider foot without becoming tight. The canvas material is high quality and true to color from the photograph. Personally, I think these provide okay arch support considering the style of shoe. The biggest endorsement that I can give is that when they arrived, I took them out of the box, put them on my feet, and was able to wear them through the entire day - they truly felt like I had owned them and had broken them in long ago, fresh out of the box.I'll definitely be exploring other options from the Tom's brand after these.
Had to return twice because the sizes are very off to me. I am a whole size bigger in this shoe than in any other shoe. When I did get a pair that fit, the shoe itself cuts into your skin in such uncomfortable places. I thought I just had to “wear them in” but as it turns out, the shoe is just designed poorly. The back of it has cut into my foot so badly I will have scarring. My blood has stained the shoe. The insole itself provides adequate support. Its a bit tighter around the foot than I am used to and it’s definitely not easy to ‘slip on’. It’s a shoe that looks very nice- I think it is modern and stylish. I love Toms and it’s mission, but this could have come out better. I wanted to support this brand versus buying another dr scholl’s slip on pair- but those are so much more comfortable. With those, they are sturdy enough to slip on and the back has plenty of comfy support. There should be cushioning near the back heel of this shoe to prevent chaffing.
I bought these for a trip to Disneyland, and I love them! For reference, I wear a 9.5 wide - and by wide, I mean a true WIDE. I need a D width in all of my sandals, dress shoes, and tennis shoes. I purchased these in a 10, and they are perfect. Within a few hours of wear, they had stretched to accommodate my wide foot. They only get more and more comfortable with more wear. I have had these for about 6 months now, and they have held up really well with almost daily wear. They are also really cute! It's difficult to find a cute and comfortable pair of flats - especially in a wide width. These have a thicker sole than the original Toms, and also a little bit of cushion. I walked for miles in these at Disneyland with absolutely no discomfort.
Very comfortable, nice casual shoe that goes well with shorts or jeans. The size was a little tight and need a shoe horn to get on the first few wearings. I would definitely buy these again.
