The mary jane style adds a classic touch, making it versatile enough for both office wear and casual outings.
What truly sets these flats apart is their comfort technology. The patented egg-crate footbed is designed specifically for minimizing pain and fatigue, especially beneficial during extended periods of standing or walking. Many users report feeling relief even after wearing them for many hours, which is a significant advantage when compared to regular flats.
While the flats may require a bit of breaking in for optimal comfort, this is a small price to pay for what they offer in return. Additionally, if you're someone who prefers more color options, you might find the selection limited. However, the classic black soft leather option pairs well with almost any outfit.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a stylish flat that doesn't compromise on comfort, the Softwalk Women's Flats are definitely worth considering. They are thoughtfully designed for the modern woman who values both aesthetics and practicality.

This shoe is a very nice looking shoe and almost looks like the school regulation shoe my daughter needed for school. We chose this shoe because of that and the fact that it was advertised as a very comfortable shoe. The shoe fit snugly, but was the perfect size when the insole was taken out. The insole takes a lot of space but appears to be very comfortable. Instead of sending the shoe back for the next half size, my daughter took out the insole and put in a thinner gel type one and kept the insole for a shoe that was a little large for her. It all worked out. Regardless of that issue, the shoe is attractive and now we know to go a half size larger if we order this again. I still give it 5 stars!
I have not had a good experience with this shoe. I wanted a good basic high quality leather walking Mary Jane that I could wear with pants or skirts if I were traveling. This doesn’t deliver. The leather was stiff and dug into the outside of my ankle on my right foot and my toes press against the end of the toe box (I do not have long toes either and the arch fits as it should so I knew I shouldn’t go up a half size). The worst part of it is that, after only having worn them about two weeks, I stubbed my toe on a curb and then the leather started peeling off! On the positive side, the width of the toes is good, there is excellent arch support and a very comfortable foot bed; however, because of the peeling leather and the short toe box, I would not recommend this shoe.
Okay, let me start with this: I do love these shoes.HOWEVER, their sizing sucks. My feet are a normal US size 6. They didn’t have them in my size, so I thought I could live with the 6.5 and have them a little big. A lot of the reviews said they were nice and roomy with nice toe boxes and fit well – but mine did not. I got them and yes, I could squish my feet in, but after walking around the house for maybe fifteen minutes, I knew they had to go back. They were far too tight in the toe area, they rubbed so much I was pretty sure they’d leave blisters. I sent them back in exchange for a 7.5 Wide, the closest up size that was available, and THOSE fit like a 6 should have! Though, they are a tiny bit big, not so bad that they’re uncomfortable at all, it just means I get to wear them year-round with my thick socks in winter since there will be enough room in them, ha.I have extremely bad plantar fasciitis and have been looking for shoes I could wear pain-free. No such thing happened until these, I’ve been wearing them pretty much non-stop since I got them. However, I DID have to put in the cheap arch supports from walmart, as these do NOT have arch supports in them. That along with their unique, super soft insoles, really helped my feet from being in unbearable pain by the end of the day.So, it comes down to this: Be weary of size. My mother’s fit her perfectly on the first try, while mine did not. These type seem to run small. Be ready to return or exchange them, just in case. Also, they may require inserts like arch supports if you have problem feet like I do. They work wonderfully with the shoes, however. I would recommend these! Just be a tad bit cautious.
I have worn this shoe brand/style for at least 15 years. I wore them while teaching and could go all day. The modest look does not bother me. I go for comfort/support overall. This brand is true to size and width. A quality made brand that I always look for. My feet are x- wide (EE) and these offer plenty of room. I love them. They have not changed anything about this shoe since I started buying them. I recommend this shoe especially if comfort/support is what you are looking for.
It's so nice to be able to slip on a really comfy pair of shoes without stockings......finally! Softwalks does make a comfortable shoe. The egg crate footbed is remarkable! I purchased these in black about a year and a half ago. I have trouble getting shoes that are right for my small feet. Mary Jane's are a wonderful option for me. These do not look like old lady shoes. They're really cute with jeans and I'm able to wear them for a long time with no problem. I recently ordered the navy because I was afraid I'd wear out the black pair, the color's are very close and also look great with jeans. I've also worn the black pair with a skirt and a dress, looked great! These are great, comfy shoes. Now if they only made them in other colors!
These fit perfectly. They feel broken in from the first wearing. The second time I wore them, it was for traversing airports.... 27 hours straight. Most comfortable shoes I've ever had the pleasure to own!Update: my first pair wore out (I wore them every day, in alllll kinds of terrain. They really took a beating) , but there were none in my size on the market when I went to buy a second pair. I have a hard-to-find size, and so I had a pair custom made to replace the Softwalks. Sadly (or happily...they were three times the price!) they didn't hold a candle to these. Was so disappointed. 6 months later, they have started restocking my size! I'll probably buy a couple extra pair in case they stop making it. Best shoes I've ever owned.
These shoes are comfortable, and the narrow width fits well on my foot. However, they're covered with a thin layer of leather that doesn't just scuff easily. It tears off. Not worth the money.
I already had a pair of Softwalk's Jupiter in size 9S in black and loved them. So much so that I ordered a second pair. But when they arrived, the new pair was at least one size wider and at least a half size longer. I could see just by eyeballing them that the shoes were much too wide. And when I held the right shoe up to the right shoe of my old pair of Jupiters, the difference was even more apparent. In addition, the leather in my old pair was shiny outside and soft and lovely on the inside. The new pair was dull, dull, dull; and I could not tell whether the inside was leather or some sort of leather-look-a-like product. The degradation in materials and quality control between the earlier pair purchased and this one was amazing. So back went the shoes and off went a letter to the shoe manufacturer.
