This is my 3rd pair of SAS sandals and 2nd pair of the Nadu style. I bought my first Nadu in summer of 2017 after hesitating because of the price. However, I was having pain in the big toe and ball of my foot, and even just trying these on in the store, I felt immediate relief and support. I walk to and from work, am on my feet all day as a teacher, and live in Hawaii where I wear sandals year-round. So, I felt the price was worth it. I found out later that I needed a stiffer sole because of my foot/toe issue. That's one of the reasons why these shoes provided relief from pain. (Later that year I had surgery on the foot.) I have lived in those sandals ever since. The only issue I have now is the elastic piece for the back strap needs to be replaced. Easy fix and worth it as the shoe repair shop. For as much I have worn these shoes, even the heal has held up quite well with minimal wear.Since I have narrow feet, I love that I have 3 places to adjust the fit. My first pair was not narrow width, but the adjustments still made it very comfortable to wear. The only reason I bought my 2nd and now 3rd is more SAS is for color variety. Like I said, I live in these shoes because they are so very comfortable, adjustable, and supportive. And the style goes with nearly everything. I'm at the point now where I'm questioning why I even have any other shoes except my hiking, "tennis", and dress shoes.
They look nice and fit well. I like the adjustable straps at the toes and ankle. I feel I could walk miles and still be comfortable.
I wouldn't have wanted to go any Narrower though! This shoe appears to be less roomy (more narrow) than the SAS pair that I purchased at a fancy shoe store recently, in the same size of 7 Narrow! The sandal I purchased at the store, I had more, extra room for adjustment! This is the most expensive Brand of sandals that I've ever bought!!! So, I decided to see what Amazon carried. & their prices were "very similar" to the fancy shoe store's price. This is just an expensive high end brand of shoe! I bought them to wear on vacation! They are comfortable!!! I have Planter Faciatis which causes my feet to hurt especially in the heel area! So, I am hoping they will be great on my feet, for walking? Hope to update review, after vacation! I have always had trouble finding sandals "narrow enough" in stores to fit correctly around my ankle! I have small ankles, which normally is a major problem when buying sandals!! There isn't much extra room to work with concerning the Velcro in this shoe. But there is some. It fits me perfectly, but the Velcro doesn't seem as "strong" as I would have expected, a high end shoe to have. Other than that, I love the look & feel of this sandal. & should it not hold up? Fit was great! I wear a 10.5 which makes finding shoes problematic. These looked good from the top and were very comfortable. BUT the strap across my arch didn't quite reach so the velcro was exposed. Not a big deal in a less expensive sandal bit for this price, the strap should easily cross my arch. I did return.
I love these sandals. I have 4 pair in different colors. So very comfy! I live in these sandals from Spring to Fall. My favorite shoe. I wear them with shorts, capris, slacks. And the different colors are great fun!
i have had several different sas shoes and they are always the most comfortable shoes. love the arch support and the way you can adjust to fit both feet. perfect for walking. great shoes
This is a great sandal for walking, and you can dress it up or down. I often need to dress professionally at work, and this sandal is perfect for both dresses or pants. When I need to walk between buildings, or longer distances, this sandal is very comfortable. It is not at all heavy, and it has just enough structure. I'm very satisfied with this sandal.
The sandals are comfortable but the straps are very short. I was afraid they wouldn’t stay closed when I walked but they did. Don’t like that so much Velcro shows when closed but I guess I will keep them. Not my favorite purchase and totally unlike SAS quality.
