The Sanuk Yoga Sling 2 stands out in the realm of casual footwear. Its thong flip-flop design, complemented by elastic fabric straps, ensures both comfort and style. The standout feature is the padded yoga-mat footbed that cushions your every step, making them ideal for extended wear during hot summer days or lounging at the poolside.
One of the notable attributes of these flip-flops is their 'Happy U' rubber sponge outsole. This not only offers excellent grip but also adds a touch of bounce to your stride, enhancing mobility and comfort. Whether you’re heading out for a quick grocery run or enjoying a day at the beach, these sandals are up to the task.
However, while they excel in many areas, it’s important to note that some users have reported sizing issues, suggesting they may run slightly small. Moreover, those requiring additional arch support may find themselves needing something more robust. Despite these considerations, the overall appeal and functionality make the Sanuk Yoga Sling 2 a solid choice for casual footwear seekers.

OK, folks, I don't often leave product reviews, but the moment these amazing sandals/flip-flops were placed upon my feet, I swear I could hear my little tootsies SING! I have plantar fasciitis, and so I need supportive, cushy footwear. My feet are also a bit on the chubby side, so I can't wear "normal" sandals because they are always too tight...which means I normally just have to settle for flip flops, which are not always the perfect match for the outfit and situation that I am in.These sandals are perfect! They look dressy enough to wear with a nice summery dress out to dinner, and yet not so stuffy that I couldn't throw on a pair of short and a t-shirt and head out to the park. They are a DREAM to walk in!!! The "strap" material is stretchy enough to accommodate moving around and walking, and yet supportive enough to feel like these shoes won't fall off. They do give a very slight tug back into place, if that makes sense. The cushion is perfectly squishy without being too squishy - just enough squish for my plantar fasciitis to be happy walking in these all day. No, seriously...ALL DAY.I am currently wondering what is the appropriate amount of time to wait before I tell my husband that I'm buying several more pair in other colors? Psssshaw, I'm going to just go ahead and do it!! You should, too!I normally wear a 9 1/2 to a 10, depending on the brand of shoe. I got these in a 10 and they fit me perfectly with a little room past my toes and behind my heel, but that's how I like it. Sometimes when I'm sitting or walking in just the right way, my feet always tend to shift in whatever shoes I am wearing, so I like a little room to move around.p.s. I hate it when people leave reviews saying they got their stuff for free or discounted (and, gosh, why aren't companies offering ME free stuff or discounts, eh?!)...so I'm happy to report that I am a REAL person who paid full price for these. Worth every penny!
First off if I could draw a sandle that I want these would be it. I’ve been looking for a shoe like this for years and am so happy I found these. I am not a fan of my feet but I only wear sandles and flops through out the summer and I couldn’t be happier. They look good and offer good coverage but remain comfortable. I generally have heel problems with shoes and these so far have been gray no painful rubbing or sores. I ordered a size 9 and I’m generally a 9 in a half so be mindful that I’ve read these run a little big. For me they are perfect.
I love these shoes so I much I bought a second pair. They are easy to put on and very comfortable. I always get tons of compliments when I wear them. They are true to size and wear well.
I have reviewed both the Sanuk Yoga Mat Flip Flop, which I fell in love with last summer, and the Sanuk Yoga Wildlife in Cheetah, which I had to return based on a disagreement between my foot and the cut of the shoe. I am a big fan of Sanuk. It's an eco-conscious company, with a great focus on producing good products while contributing to the community and supporting worthy causes, such as Operation Smile. I mention this because of my preference to buy from companies that pay their workers fairly and do something positive for the world rather than just churn out low-quality products made by cheap labor that pollute the environment.Sanuk made this style last year, but this is the first time I have tried something other than a traditional flip flop from them. I like to slip my shoes on my way out the door and I knew these would require an extra minute or two. I have had surgery on both ankles and they tend to be very sensitive so I was slightly concerned about discomfort at my achilles tendon, based on the stretchy band inside the material. The Sanuk Yoga Sling 2 fit as well I hoped and looked better than I expected. I had seen images of them on, but they were promos for the shoe so the model had perfect feet, long and narrow. My feet are slightly wide and the soles of Yoga Sling 2 looked as though they might be less wide than those of the Yoga Mat. I actually asked this question on Sanuk's site and was disappointed that it was never answered. With Amazon's free return policy on this product, I took a chance and ordered them in the Black/White, size 9. At first I thought I was losing my mind because I seemed to be missing a strap. Turns out the back strap was wrapped underneath each shoe. Once I had them on properly, I was pleased as punch. They look great on my non-modelesque, normal person feet. The material is soft against my skin and between my toes (it's the same material all throughout the shoe). My concerns about the strap around the ankle were unfounded. Though strong enough to easily hold the shoes on, the elastic within the fabric is gentle enough not to cause me any discomfort. The pattern of the Black/White looks exactly the same as it does online. These shoes are casual but can definitely be dressed up depending on your ensemble. They provide more options than a traditional flip flop, while offering the same level of comfort.I was correct about the Yoga Sling 2 requiring an additional minute or two to put on compared to my original Yoga Mat Flip Flops. It's mostly making sure the fabric is laying flat (for looks) and is not a big deal.Like the Sanuk Yoga Mat Flip Flops, the footbed of the Yoga Sling 2 is made from recycled yoga mats and is just as squashy and cushiony. However, the Yoga Sling 2 has what Sanuk calls a "sealed edge", which is just what it sounds like and adds to dressier quality of the shoe. You can clearly see the difference when you zoom in on the images on the product pages. There are 2 slightly negative things about footbed of these shoes, which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.1) As other reviewers mentioned, the footbed is shiny (rather than matte like the Yoga Mat Flip Flops) and this finishing treatment tends to stick to my feet, especially when my they are sweaty, which is often. I read that one reviewer stuck moleskin on the footbed, which resolved her issue.2) The front of the footbed has a slightly odd shape. It is rounder and more bulbous than I expected and extends a fair amount around the front of my foot. It almost makes the shoe look too long, like it's the wrong size. (I had a similar problem with the Sanuk Yoga Wildlife Flip Flop) I haven't seen anyone else mention this so perhaps mine were cut weird. However, I haven't had this issue with my Yoga Mats. Unlike the problem I had with the Yoga Wildlife Flip Flops, the back of the footbed on the Yoga Sling 2 looks and fits fine. Though I was on the fence about returning them due to the front of the footbed, I like the way they look overall, they are super comfortable, and it's good to have a "dressy" flip flop option, considering that's all I wear most of the year.Overall, the Sanuk Yoga Sling 2 is cute, comfortable, and versatile. Amazon carries all the colors (depending on your size). They also carry the Sanuk Yoga Sling 2 Prints Flip Flop, which I am kinda dying for in the Tomato Tie Dye.
This is my third pair of Sanuk yoga slings; I also have black ones and cream ones. These are not intended for cushy arch support; they are more like a soft barefoot feel.I have wider feet and they still fit within the foot shape of these. I usually wear US 7.5 but get these in 7.Warning: they do seem to take a short bit of time to break in - the top front of the toe can catch carpet and cause a little stumble if they aren’t broken in and all the way on your foot securely.
I do not enjoy wearing shoes and can be quite particular about sandals with a thing between my toes, but these are wonderful! They are so soft and supportive, but still feel like I'm walking barefoot. The style really goes with everything too. I can wear them for work, to go on a nice walk, and I've even worn them for a night out!
Fabric straps make it comfortable however... They are time consuming when putting on. These are not slip, slide and go.
