These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. I am nor.ally an 8.5 but I probably could have gone down to an 8 and still had room.
I have other shoes made by this company and I love them. I have worn them for years. They look nice and are comfortable to wear. The only reason I returned these is that I needed a10 1/2 wide and they did not come in this Size. The 11 was too large.
I wanted a closed toe sandal that was open enough so my feet wouldn't stink. I have wide square toes. This shoe has a wide comfortable toe box. This sandal is perfect!!! I didn't even need to break them in. I loved them so much, I ordered two more pairs in different colors. A little pricey, but well made, and sturdy.

Can be used with orthotics. Comfortable. I can wear these all day. No problems. I have another brand that I wore and had to get rid of . Hurt my feet after wearing them two hours . This won't happen with propet.
