This is my first pair of Propet shoes. They won't be my last! They look sharp, are lightweight, comfortable right out of the box, and the grey is actually a very pretty taupe that goes with my navy, tan and black pants. I'm looking forward to travelling with these on my feet.
Due to health issues and a need to wear comfortable shoes, I typically wear athletic shoes or crocs. I wear a size 12. For me, going to dressy events are stressful as it’s hard for me to fit in with the right shoes. These shoes have eased my worries. They have been so comfortable that I have inadvertently worn them all day. I almost always have a pair of comfortable backup shoes when I attend dressy events for more than a couple of hours. However, I have inadvertently worn these all day when attending a wedding and church events. I wear them with pants and never broke them in so to speak. The first time I wore them was at a wedding and wore them and I wore them at least 8 hours. Not one thought came to my mind that my fear were uncomfortable. Not one. I ordered a size 12. I can only wear Mary Jane type shoes and these met those requirements and definitely assist in ensuring the shoes fit me properly.These shoes are most likely to casual for most but they are a life changer for me. They are more stylish, dressier and more comfortable than most of the Mary Jane shoes I have tried for thé past 10 or more years. Just wish they were a darker black.Grateful !!!!!
I always wear 2e width in Propet shoes, but had to exchange for a 4e. Smooth fast transaction. Return shipping was free. I LIKE these Propet Golda shoes very much. They’ll accommodate my orthotics + thin socks. Comfortable walking shoe and MUCH more stylish than athletics shoes.
Very comfortable
I ordered these shoes for my elderly mother. She tried them on and couldn’t even get them on. No tags were removed and they were not worn at all. I returned the shoes and was reimbursed but $31.49 was deducted as a restocking fee. Due to this, I will not make another purchase from them, it is just not worth it if I need to return. I am giving a review of 3 because everything was taken care of in a timely fashion and the shoes looked like quality shoes.
Please learn from my mistake so that you don’t lose money too. If you’ve tried on these shoes before and know that they work for you and what size to buy, then you’ll be fine. But if not, pay close attention to whether the size you’re buying is an Amazon Prime item or not. Some are, and some aren’t. The ones that say “Free shipping” are a nightmare to return and you’ll end up paying about $40 for the privilege of trying on these shoes. You have to pay for return shipping, which is about $20, and the restocking fee is about $20. And you have to print out the shipping label.The shoes themselves were not what I needed. I have plantar fasciitis and wear an orthotic, and these shoes did not provide enough support for me. The soles of the shoes have a network of holes, which I suppose make the sole more flexible (exactly the wrong type for me.) Hope this helps you in your quest for comfortable shoes!
Shoe is comfortable and true to size
these shoes are the best shoes I’ve had in years! I have problems w/ mobility, and find these sooo easy to walk in , no more painful toes or struggling with shoe laces or buckles!
