This is my favorite all year to go shoe. It is very light and extremely comfortable to wear, and I have gotten many compliments on the way it looks on my size 7 extra wide feet. I usually wear a 7 wide, but had to go larger in this shoe, but it also allowed me to use my own orthopedic inserts. I have 3 pairs, black, tan, and the putty color. I liked these shoes so well that I purchased additional pairs in the same colors, but beware, the original putty color seems to have changed, so that was returned . Another issue was that the Velcro strap seemed to be the first thing to go. Should have lasted longer!
First impression, I liked the style better than I thought I would. The leather upper is very soft and flexible, thinner than I would expect for leather; however, still seems durable enough. I was thrilled that my foot went all the way in with near ease (I have edema on my feet and ankles, so that was a biggie.) The T-strap didn’t center and lie flat on top though. The bigger problem and disappointment came with the narrowing of the shoe through the widest part of the foot, which isn’t adjustable. This is almost always the problem for me. I ordered the widest size and it’s still too tight across my foot just above the start of my toes. I don’t have any foot irregularities other than some swelling and it isn’t half as bad as it used to be. So I am still on my quest for a shoe that properly fits and offers some comfort and support, just so I have something to put on my feet to leave the house, let alone walk for the exercise I need.
This shoe is cute, but runs my little toe. I have a couple other styles (Julene and Chole Flat) in this brand and love the way they fit and feel. I wear one of these pairs of shoes nearly every day. I hope to see more styles and colors available in my size.
I ordered this shoe in size 11wide for my mom in law to allow for room as her feet often swell. The leather is buttery soft and the color is rich camel. These shoes are also lightweight enabling her maximum mobility. I recommend this purchase.
First, there was a return form in the shoebox with a handwritten note from a previous buyer who had apparently worn the shoes and had not liked them. The soles showed some light wear, but since I always place an additional insole, I decided to try them out anyway. I found them to be comfortable and liked that they have a velcro adjustable strap. However, after only the 3rd or 4th wear, the strap on one of the shoes began to tear. A few hours later, I noticed the shoe felt loose and sure enough the whole thing had torn off. It appeared as if it had never been stitched in place correctly.I have purchased Propet shoes before that lasted through years of wear. These, unfortunately didn't even last a season.
The color, the poor quality didn't fit
I am really pleased with these shoes! Wonderfully made, fit my feet perfectly, sooo comfy, and look great with every outfit! Glad I found them!
Fit my wide foot perfectly. They are comfortable, but wish they had a little more padding inside. Manufacturers need to make more casual shoes with a tennis shoe bottom, women want comfort, not just style.
