I was looking for a sandal that would go with everything for upcoming trips. I love the look and fit but the leather is so stiff it bruised the top of my foot. I have a narrow foot and they fit fine. I will keep them since I wore them but will look for a softer leather sandal.Updated- the leather did soften up after wearing and I had purchased a blue pair as well. The blue pair was much softer than the sand color. I did put leather conditioner on both pairs and that has kept them looking nice. I have worn both pairs all summer with everything from dresses, jeans to shorts and have gotten many compliments. They are a sandal that gets better as you wear them.
Love these sandals! I have boxy feet, so I wear anywhere from a 9-10. Based on the reviews I bought these in size 9, and they are perfect! They were a tad snug the first time I wore them, but were easy to break in. Plus, the toe is open, but you can’t actually see your toenails while wearing them, so it’s okay to skip that pedi! My new favorites! I will say, the “tan” color was much, much lighter than I’d expected. Almost the same color as my pasty skin, which is anything but tan!
I have hard to fit feet (bunions, long toes) and was thrilled to find these Pons. I usually cannot wear cute shoes, but these fit really well. I can usually wear a 10.5 in sandals, so I ordered both a 10 and an 11. They both fit, but the 11 was more comfortable and the one that I kept. There is zero arch support, so I added some stick-in arch pads (see photo) and now the shoes are perfect! Unlike many similar shoes with paper thin soles, these have nice rubber soles that should last a while. They are unlined leather and do stretch to conform to your foot, but think of this as fine-tuning only. Remember that you still need to start with the correct size. If your toes are jammed up against the end of the shoe, they will not stretch to fix that problem - you need a bigger size.
I love the materials. This is the perfect medium brown. Super soft. The heel strap feels loose but the ankle strap keeps the shoe on and is comfortable. I probably wouldn’t buy the heel strap only version because I doubt very much that it would stay on. I love the buckle, seems sturdy and there is no elastic involved. They are true to size. I would give 5 stars but I need to see how durable/comfortable they are after a few all day wears. Considering taking them on our vacation this summer that will involve a lot walking.Update: oct.2020 these are my FAVORITE sandals. I still wear them all the time. Wore last year in Paris and we walked everywhere. Highly recommend.
Shoe was to hard and way to big and leather was not soft enough to be comfortable.
I was skeptical... but these are SUPER comfy (I will be purchasing arch support pads though) and they are SO CUTE. The quality is remarkable. Gorgeous rich brown color and they are true to size. I'm now resisting the urge to buy more colors. These are amazing shoes.
I love the look of these sandals. They can be worn with shorts, jeans, skirts and dresses. I bought them because they came highly recommended as a comfortable walking shoe for an upcoming vacation. I typically wear a 9 1/2 shoe. So I was careful to use the sizing chart to decide if I should order a 9 or 10. I wish they came in half sizes!!! I ordered the 9. The shoe just fits, and was incredibly stiff and tight (especially in the toe area) when I first got them. I put some shoe stretch spray on them, and wore them around the house with socks. They now fit my foot like a well worn glove. I would recommend these shoes, but just know that you'll need to give them some time to form to your foot.
I got these in matte black. From what I read about this brand I expected really high quality shoes. The leather on these is really thin, and the strap squeaked loudly for the first month or so that I was wearing them. They are cute, though the ankle strap fits a little weirdly. If I were going to reorder I would get the original kind without the ankle strap. The way you can see the toes through the front is a little awkward looking in my opinion. I do wear them, just not nearly as much as I hoped that I would want to.
