When it comes to selecting the right footwear for your toddler, the pediped Flex Giselle Mary Jane ticks many boxes. It stands out particularly due to its focus on foot health; pediatricians recommend this footwear to assist in the natural development of little feet. The design allows young walkers to feel the ground beneath them, contributing positively to their balance and coordination.
The soft leather upper ensures a comfortable fit, while the cushioned midsole works wonders in supporting active feet during exploration. You'll find that the removable insole is a brilliant addition that allows you to customize the shoe's fit, accommodating your child's growth over time.
One aspect to keep in mind is that the shoes are not water-resistant. This may limit outdoor play on rainy days, but they excel in dry conditions. Received these not too long ago, wanted a cute pair of Mary Janes for my toddler, but not the typical dress shoe. They are very cute and just as pictured. I have not had a bad experience as of yet with them falling apart as other reviews have, but again, I just received these and they have only been worn 2 times. They did come with both inserts and so I can see that they would be easily removable, but I also didn't have a problem with them coming out of the shoe when she wore them. My daughter is a stride rite 7.5-8, so I bought a 24 in these, and they are perfect. My daughter also has the chubby toddler foot, so it is not particularly narrow and these also work for her feet. The strap does not tighten a whole lot, which works for me, but may not for a narrow foot. My daughter was able to wear them all day, and without complaint, so I am satisfied.
These are the best children's shoes we have tried. Excellent arch support. Fit as advertised. Flex system enables you to swap out extra insole to extend wear time as your child's feet grow. Very sturdy materials, these will hold up longer than they will fit your child's growing feet. Flexible soles, ready to wear and don't need to be broken in. These are well worth the money for your kiddo's growing feet. I keep an eye out for price reductions and buy them in larger sizes, as I know they'll eventually fit the little one.
This one is the third pair of Pediped that I bought to my daughter. I really think they are confortable and cute but this silver in a case a part. After 1 month of use it started to lost the color in front and already has one dot missing. Unfortunelly I cannot return it because of the date that has already expired.
This is our daughter's second pair of Pedipeds. When she grew out of her baby moccasins, we searched hard in local stores for shoes that were cute, comfortable and durable and that would stay on her feet. We came up empty handed, so we bought a pair of these online (even though they're a bit pricey) and they were fantastic. She wore them everyday for 8 months and they still look great. Now that she is starting to grow out of them, we replaced them with this new pair. She loves them and they seem as durable and comfortable as the first pair. These came with an extra insole that can be used at first to make the shoe smaller if they are slightly too big. We bought them a little large and have been using the insole and it works great (except that our daughter figured out that they can be pulled out and it's hard to keep her from playing with them).
We have bought four pairs of pediped's Giselle shoes in various sizes (grip n go, flex) because my daughter loves the polka dot design. The shoes get many compliments, seem comfortable, and hold up well. However, the last two pair that we have bought have been from the Flex line and they both have a distinctive, stinky chemical-type odor. When we received our first stinky pair last year, I complained and the company offered me a small discount off my next purchase. Unfortunately I decided to try the same pair again this year in a larger size, and the new pair have exactly the same odor. I've tried airing them out, wiping them down with a damp cloth, and even just setting them aside for a few weeks, and it doesn't seem to help. I don't even like to keep them in my daughter's closet because you can smell them as soon as you open her closet door. We've purchased quite a few pediped shoes in the past and have never noticed an odor like this. I won't buy another pair of the flex Giselle.
My daughter loves these shoes. They are light and sturdy and offer a good support. After a few months of heavy use, the shoes have held well. The only thing that came off is one of the color dots on the front of each shoe from rubbing the front of the shoes during play time. The removable insole makes it easy to verify the fit. I would definitely buy the shoe again. Also, I bought a pair of UMI shoes (Wendi Mary Jane) and found the Pediped to be much lighter than the umi shoe.
we had to order a size up as the first pair was too small. we owned these in the past and loved them- they lasted and looked nice til she otgrew them. but this new pair got horribly scuffed on the first day of use (poor materials as nothing like this has ever happened with any of her other shoes nor these same ones fro some years back).
This is very cute for my 15month twins (surely they are girls!) and looks very comportable. The only thing that I don't like is... price... a litte bit high and I didn't have any discount... anyway.... that's really cute.
