I sized up from my usual 8 and ordered an 8.5 after reading reviews.They come with two sets of insoles and with both, they are a perfect fit. I have wide feet and they are extremely comfortable right from the start. I actually think I could order my usual 8 and they’d be ok. They are very thin soled with no arch support but with the 2 insoles the bottoms are quite padded.I will definitely buy another pair, maybe a pointed pair next time. The ballerina round toes are cute but look a little bit like slippers!I would recommend buying them.
I haven't worn them for long stints (e.g more than a few hours), but so far they fit great (and I have wide feet), they look so cute, the color is bright (I got red), the material is soft, they don't slip off my heals, the pad inside is so comfortable... I can honestly say I have no negative things to report. I hope they hold up for a while even though they aren't expensive shoes.
These seem very well-made and just stretchy enough, with a sturdy, flat heel. However, I ordered a size 10 and they were quite narrow and short. I was very disappointed since they were so nice! If you have narrow feet, just make sure to order up one size, or perhaps a half size if possible.
I love these lightweight flats. They slip on easily and are very comfortable. The removable insert is padded and comfy. I like the machine washable feature.My only complaint is there is no arch support. I may put one in to see if it fits.
I like wearing ballet flats at work. My favorite ballet flats for comfort are the AllBirds Breezers but they always get holes where my big toe hits after a minimal amount of wear. The last thing you want to do is drop $100 on a pair of shoes that falls apart after a couple of months. As much as I love the feel of my AllBirds, in frustration of them never holding up, I’ve been searching for a new go-to work shoe. I first tried ordering a pair of Rothy’s which were even more expensive than the AllBirds. The Rothy’s were exceptionally cute and comfortable to wear but the insole had zero padding or shape and felt like I was pounding on hard concrete when walking around. I would not want to stand or walk in them for long periods, and as such, I couldn’t justify keeping them for the price.Once again back to the drawing board, I started searching Amazon for well-reviewed ballet flats. The Frank Mullay’s were one of the first shoes that came up in the search. I was skeptical with their reasonable price tag but decided to give them a go since the reviews were promising.Here’s how the Frank Mullay’s rank up: these shoes are comfortable out of the box. I didn’t need a break in period. Like Rothy’s, whose design they clearly borrow, there is hardly any cushion to the sole and zero arch support. That said, I think these are actually a tad more comfortable than the pair of Rothy’s I tried (especially with the thicker insole in). As far as aesthetics: the Frank Mullay’s look a lot like Rothy’s in shape. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference unless I was looking at them side by side. Rothy’s have a a much bigger and in my opinion cuter color and pattern selection. However, the Frank Mullay’s offer more than enough cute choices even if they aren’t “drool worthy.” In my opinion, both Rothy’s and Frank Mullay’s are much cuter than my AllBirds. Sadly, they not as comfortable. I would be much more comfortable doing city walking in AllBirds over either the Rothy’s or Frank Mullay’s.I look forward to seeing how these shoes hold up. Even if they don’t wear well, they are still so much more reasonably priced the Rothy’s and AllBirds, I’d still be coming out ahead if I can get 6 months of easy wear out of them.If these continue to wear well, I’ll be picking up several more pairs in different colors.After a couple days of wear, I highly recommend to anyone whose feet can handle Rothy’s. They seem like a great bargain ballet flat. my next step is going to see if I can find a more cushioned and supportive insole that fits. With the low price tag, I have no problem springing for an extra insole.I’m giving these 5 stars as they are clearly meant to be a more affordable Rothy’s alternative (knockoff) and I think that they succeed very well on that front. I’ll update to see how these shoes hold up to wear over the next couple of months.
I bought these for a winter wedding and to have a basic pair of dress-up shoes after the wedding. The material felt very soft and comfortable initially. However, as time wore on, they started to bother my feet. I got a 7.5 which is my size but they were a bit loose so I had to squeeze my toes to keep them on. Also the toe box felt small. That may have been because I usually wear “barefoot shoes”. In the long run, I wish that I had spent a bit more planned and gotten something better quality.
I have been looking everywhere for flats to wear to work that have room in the toe box (but are not wide-width shoes overall). I'm sick of my feet feeling squished and hurting at the end of the day, but I still need to look professional. I just got these and so far am very pleased! They look like normal shoes, unlike some of the specialty brands I've found online. They feel wider around the toes than my normal flats and they stretch some. I wore them twice last week and was very pleased--no pain at the end of the day! I am going to give them a few more days to make sure there are no issues, then might buy some more in other colors!
Wow. So comfy, so cute. More than enough padding on the bottom — just great. Ordered a half size up so I can wear a pair of peds with them . They are dressy and casual at the same time. . Perfect for hosting something at home when you want comfortable but also look a bit dressy.
