These are comfortable and breath well. My feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. They look professional.
This is a well-made, well-fitting shoe and I expect it to last through many years. My caveat is that I have "tall" feet - not high arches, but I have to be wary of shoes like this that cover the top of the foot. Sure enough, these are somewhat tight over the top of the foot. However, with previous Ecco shoes, I've found that, with gentle wear for a while, they actually do conform to one's foot. So I am confident these will work out fine. They look and feel great.
Let's be truthful: these are not the most stylish pair of shoes you will ever buy. But they do look nice, and are probably one of the most practical pairs you will own. I'm short and needed a pair of shoes that would give me some height for my choir concert--the girl who stood in front of me was just a bit too tall for me to see the conductor. But I also have weak ankles, and needed a shoe that I could stand in for hours on end. And voila! These came to the rescue! They give me just enough height, and really are as comfy as everyone says. Would definitely recommend these for anyone. Also, if it's helpful: I normally wear a women's 7 1/2. I ordered the "38 EU/7-7.5 M US" size, and it fits perfectly.
Nice shoes, wide and long.
Purchased these shoes for a Europe trip but have been wearing them around town to break them in. They are very comfortable, perfect in length and width and are very feminine looking, unlike the majority of "walking shoes." I have problem feet and use various orthotics to prevent pain. These ECCOS have their own cushioned lining which is comfortable but not supportive enough for my particular feet on day long walks so I took out the easily removable lining and slipped my own in. They are also lightweight and look good with pants and skirts. The stores between here and San Francisco don't have many ECCO products and I am fortunate to have found them on Amazon.
I have high insteps, wide feet, plus bunions, so it is very hard to find shoes that work for me. I typically wear one pair every single day at work until they wear out entirely. My most recent pair had a hole in the sole that went all the way through to the foot.About 5 years ago I discovered neoprene uppers, which work really well for me as they provide stretch, especially good for bunions. I am sized at an 8.5 but usually have to wear a 9 lately. These 9's fit perfectly and feel great.
I purchased these shoes a year ago to replace a similar pair I wore out. The previous pair were the most comfortable pair of nice looking shoes I have ever owned. I was so happy when I thought I had found their replacement. But to my chagrin, the new shoes are too narrow in the back, too high in the back so that they cause blisters everytime I wear them, and too narrow in the front so that they cause severe pain in my toes. I was hoping I could break them in but I am afraid the shoes have broken me instead. I just spoke with the company and the one-year warranty doesn't cover badly constructed pain-inducing design flaws. I will be throwing these away. I hope that Ecco will bring back the old comfortable beautiful design back.
These flats were quite narrow. I would have ordered a replacement pair if they came in wide width
