I found this ECCO Simpil Ankle Sandal to be extremely comfortable for my "hard-to-fit and hard-to-find-comfort" feet! The support for the arch and ball of foot are excellent, making it comfortable for extended wear. The sandal appearance is stylish enough to wear almost anywhere, from outdoor concert to casual dining. I usually need a 7.5 or 8 wide, so I ordered a size 39 in these. It was too large, especially too long, and I had to return it for a size 38 - which was perfect! The return was easy and speedy!
Comfortable
I love Ecco sandals. I had a pair a few years back that I loved and carried me MANY miles! They say discontinued that sandals. I got these hoping they finally brought back something similar. These were great except the 38 ran much bigger than usual. I've worn 38 in Ecco and other brands consistently. I had to give these to my mom because they were too large. Beautiful shoe though!
ECCO is a brand I've wanted to try. I'm a 10.5M. It's not always easy to find the correct fit, since most shoe companies do not make a 10.5. Very frustrating. ECCO's size is 10-10.5. I decided to try & glad I did!ALL PROS:Perfect 10.5M fit.Very comfortable.Love the mix of colors on the straps.Has arch support.Leather is supple.A beautiful, comfortable sandal. I really wanted to love this shoe. I ordered them for an upcoming trip to Italy. I’ve read in several blogs that these shoes are super comfy to walk in. I have very think ankles and when I tried to fasten the shoe with the Velcro, the piece isn’t long enough to keep them snug enough around my ankle. So therefore my foot slips forward too much. I did however give them to a friend who loves them!
These sandals were perfect for our trip to Cancun! We walked for hours and my feet felt no pain or discomfort! I’m 54 years old and now-a-days, my feet hurt with certain sandals. I 100% recommend these sandals! Definitely worth the price!
I love all of my Ecco sandals and was prepared to love these as well. But the strap that goes around my ankle is too long. There is not enough velcro to adjust it properly. The strap measurements are wrong. Also, I ordered a size 7 which Amazon translates to a 38 Euro and is actually a 37 Euro.
Love the style, however, the sandals are too wide :-(. Unusual for Ecco's.
