These are attractive suede flats that perfectly matched a yellow-gold purse that I have. The suede is a fine quality. A particularly attractive feature is that the suede goes around the circular heel. The shoe runs a bit wide--particularly in the heel. It was necessary for me to have the shoe repairman put an insert in the heel in order for me to keep it securely on my foot.
My understanding is that Eccos usually run big, so these are an exception. I wear a 10 medium, every day, all day. These are going back, because they are way too small. They look like great shoes; styled with a leather upper, small 1/4" heel, and rubber sole. I think maybe ballet flats aren't for me, as I hate to size up and have them falling off.
It’s hard to find leather dark navy flats, so I was happy to discover the Ecco Anine in Night Sky. These are a darker navy than my Clarks flats. They have black soles, so they look a little dressier than my navy flats with tan soles.I am between a 5.5 and a 6 in American sizes. I bought the 36 size in these, which is listed as 5-5.5, as I have several other pairs of Eccos (boots, pumps, sandals) in 36. The 36es fit perfectly, better than an American 6 (slips off without socks or an insert) or a 5.5 (too tight at first, toes still hitting the front after wear-in).These are true ballet flats with an almond (not pointed) toe, no inserts/arch supports, only a little footbed cushioning, and black rubber soles. They are comfortable, the leather is soft, and the shoes are well made. I love that Ecco lines these with real leather so my feet don’t sweat! I expect these to last for 10 years. All in all, a great purchase. I would buy them again.
I bought these in prime day for a super good price. I’ve been really happy with them so farFit: these fit as expected. They fit me well, but my feet are on the narrow side of normalSupport: I have plantar faciitis. I need shoes with good support, and these work well for me. I can’t wear most flats due to lack of support, so I’m happy!Style: not super stylish, but not overly “orthopedic” if you know what I mean. It’s a good compromise IMO, but your mileage may vary.Wear: so far so good, but I have only owned them for a little over a month. Will update if that changes!
I was so disappointed that they did not fit! I wear an 8 1/2 and they were just too small! I still have not been given credit for them even though they were mailed last week!
I used the guide provided to order the correct size and actually went up a size (it has European sizing) because I really wanted it to fit. It was still too short (my toe was right at the end) and painfully narrow. The good, however -- it appeared to be excellent quality, and the color gave me a Cinderella's step-sister moment -- I kept trying to jam my foot in to make it work, I loved the color that much! Five stars on the return policy, Four stars on the appearance, but Two stars because the sizing guide appears to be incorrect as far as length, and it should contain a caution that it's a narrow cut.
I love the look of these shoes and they fit well but when I walked, they flipped off the back of my foot. Perhaps I’ve forgotten how to walk in ballet flats, regardless, they went back because I just couldn’t walk comfortably.
I ordered these flats in Black. I wanted side support and sufficient room in the toe box. I love the leather and minimalistic design.I wear a 10 Medium and I ordered Size 10-10.5. I tried them on after a day in sneakers , walked on carpet and noticed the comfy toe room right away. If my foot was wider, they would not work.
