Followed the advice of others and picked 1 whole size smaller than my usual size. Arrived in good condition and packed nicely inside the box. They are well made and fit just perfect, solid thick heels, the leather is soft and isn't grating into the skin on top of your foot. Great adjustable velcro strap. Casual, classy strappy sandals with a cushy thick sole. I ended up buying a second pair for when these are fully worn out! ! ! !

These shoes are pretty comfortable. I'm tall and wear a size 12 shoe, but a lot of times it seems like you get bigger shoes, and they think your feet are also wider but not in my case. These shoes are a tad bit big and the strap could use a longer velcro strip.
My usual size in shoes is an 8.5. With regard to length, purchase your typical size. But when it comes to width, these sandals run EXTREMELY WIDE! Order a width smaller than you usually wear. I have a very wide foot and ordered an 8.5W the first time. They were so huge in the width that I had to send them back. My second order was an 8.5M. Still very wide, perhaps a bit big in width, but I'm going to keep them since my feet swell in hot weather. I think that they will conform to my foot with wear. Very comfortable and cute, and they will go with all sorts of outfits. I bought the gold, and it is a very functional color. It will go with jeans, capris, and a summer dress.
These shoes are stamped as "leather upper" and "balance man-made," which I find to be only partially true. The upper part is not entirely made out of leather but it just includes leather. These days it is impossible to find genuine leather shoes and these are no exception. They try to hide its composition pretty well. The top layer of the stripes appears to be genuine leather, however, the lining glued and sawn to the leather is not leather, just fabric. Genuine leather will stretch and mold to the feet. These shoes will not. They are not bad, but they do not feel quite right either. I would pay more just to get a true "all leather" version of these shoes.

The shoes are nice looking however, even though marked narrow they are NOT narrow. I will give them to my daughter and in the future order from a more reliable source.
This is the fourth pair of the Mars sandals, I have red, beige, gold, and now the navy. Love the fit and comfort of this shoe.
