These are stylish AND SO COMFORTABLE! I have a bunion, and the shoes are very forgiving. I do think they run a little large, but are easily adjusted with back strap and ankle strap. I bought them for traveling & walking on uneven ground, and they fit the bill!
I love these sandals! They are so comfortable! and so cute! I ended up also buying them in black! I normally wear a size 9 but the sandals are made a little long, so I ended up getting them in 8.5 and they fit perfectly!
This sandal is comfortable with a good arch support, which I need. I also like the closed-toe Mary Jane style. I ordered a size 10, even though my foot measures a 9.5, because U.S. shoe companies tend to cut corners on the length of their shoes. Turns out, I was wrong on these. The size 10 was too long for my foot. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the straps with the Velcro are rather narrow and kind of flimsy. I think the straps could be a little thicker and a little wider to provide more support. And Easy Spirit skimped on the Velcro; it needs more to hold your foot securely. I returned them because the size I ordered was too big for my foot.
First off I need to say that I returned this particular pair of this shoe because the swirl pattern was not even on both shoes .. one was much more solid blue color and the other more swirl. Amazon did not offer the solid blue version so I had to order from Easy Spirit directly, and I have kept that pair. I can absolutely understand why people are reviewing that they run large. The closed portion over the toes is what I would call "roomy". Now, for me that works great because I must wear a toe divider between each of my big toes and second toes. One thing I do not care for, but can live with, is the length of the straps. They are too long, at least around my foot. Both the heal strap and the one over the top of my foot. In order to snug them up the velcro part goes over it's matching part in both places. This means they have nothing to grip onto and so that over lapping part will sooner than later begin to roll outwards... not a great look. My family considers me the girl with princess and the pea feet! One little stitch out of place and it will irritate my foot. The sides of the shoe where the velcro comes over the foot tend to rub my feet a little bit. However I am happy to say they do not hurt. 😁 After a while I do not notice it. This could also be caused by the little oversizing issue as well. The insole is pretty comfy, although I would like to feel more arch support. Also, in MY opinion only, on my foot they are on the verge of looking "dorky" .. but they stop just short of that. I am a woman of a certain age who is now living in the comfort zone so juuuuuuust a tiny bit of dorky does not stop me LOL. I realize all this sounds negative , but still I like them, they are pretty comfortable, they allow me to wear a sandal but still cover my toe dividers, they are cool and airy, and the dark blue is a true dark blue so they look great with my jeans. All in all if any of my issues and similar to your own, I would suggest you give them a try. If you can try through Amazon all the better.
I love the fit and comfort of this shoe. I have a very hard time finding shoes that provide arch support and don't bother my bunions, so I was very excited to find these. They look great and are very comfortable walking around. The adjustments straps help with the fit. Even though the straps are not leather, they work well. They are cooler than my normal tennis shoes for summer wear. I usually wear a 10 but got the 10N and they are so great, I am ordering another pair in blue. The sale price was fantastic too. I am waiting for them to reduce the price on the black and for them to come out with a plain white. I will be all over those.
There are 8so many* things wrong with the straps. They're ugly. They don't fit the aesthetic of the shoe. They're flimsy. They're too thin. They don't stretch. They're ugly.Mostly, they are ugly and ruin the look of the shoe. It's a simple matter to find a quality strap at the fabric store and switch the strap out for something that blends with the shoe better, is sturdier, and is more comfortable. I bought a sturdy all black strap with just enough give to adapt to my steps without giving too much. If I can find a decent strap at a chain fabric store, I'm sure a crispin can find a similar quality strap.Given how nice these shoes are, that strap is an absolute eyesore. If you have hte skill or know someone who has the skill, change out the strap.
Very comfortable sandals. I have 4 pair in navy, black, white and beige, that's how good they are. ;-)
I bought the tan sandals a couple of years ago and have worn them a lot. They held up and still look good. The black ones are new. You can see in the photo of you look carefully that the straps are not as wide or strong as the original pair. Also, the Back strap was too long. I overlapped the strap about 1/2" and sewed it together. I did it where the strap meets the ring. I hope that will keep the strap flat. Why did Easy Spirit use such an inferior material for such a small part of the whole?
