I have always liked Eastland shoes. They are strong, good looking and fit perfectly. These are true to size and don't even need to be broken in. I just put then on and spent the day. Wonderful!!!
Because I like the Eastland brand so well I really thought these would be great. The sole was not as high and was made out of a cushier material. Well, I was dead wrong. In a matter of a few months of minimal wear the heals on both shoes blew out. Yes, I said blew out and they were completely unwearable. The sellers did refund my money however and I am grateful for that.
I am a big fan of Eastland Shoes for travel. They are casual, comfortable and versatile making packing more streamlined. They are comfortable shoes to walk around in all day when sightseeing or going from airport to airport. I also wear Eastland shoes to work. I am a medical professional and spent 90% of my day on my feet. They are very comfortable and withstand the rigors of work and travel well. My only negative on this particular model is that I normally wear a 9M US in every model of Eastland's that I own (4)......this model required that I return them for a 9.5M US. I didn't mind, the shoes are well worth it.
I have only worn it twice to break it in slowly. So far, comfortable. Looks good.
Great shoes. My actual shoe size is a 9. They are a little snug. Probably would be better to get a wide, if you do not want them to fit snug. Overall would recommend.
Returned these shoes. The leather looked cheap, but the main reason I returned them was that the sides came up high and rubbed underneath my ankle bones.
These shoes are very nice quality and are comfortable also. i do have another eastland that i like better they are called open road.but these would be my next chose. eastland shoes can run a little big you might want to order a half of size smaller if you perfer your shoe on the loose side then the regular size will be fine.
This is the second pair of this style I have purchased. These seem to fit a bit smaller than the original pair, however, after putting them on the first time, they stretched enough that I was able to wear them all day without any adverse affects. I have worn my original pair almost daily for several years and the upper leather portion is still in great condition. The problem lies with the sole splitting at the ball portion of the foot, which I have read other purchasers complain about. I am going to try to have them repaired. Fortunately for me, I am not hard on shoes and hope this pair will last as long as the original ones. And yes, I would/will purchase another pair if available as I love this style.
