These look good, are very comfortable, and there is no chance of slipping out of your shoe and falling.
But too long, finger can go behind my heel when shoe buckled. Size 36
I normally love my Danskos. I Can teach middle school in them all day and my feet aren’t killing me at the end of the day. This pair is cute and I love the color. They also offer the same Dansko comfort. BUT, the edge of the toe box on this pair rubbed my toes raw on both feet. I’ve passed the return date, so I can’t return them. I will have to wear socks, moleskin, or double bandaids when I wear these again and will have to wear them for shorter time periods. I also didn’t realize the buckle was a real buckle and not Velcro like my others. The buckle is small and on the outside of my foot, so it is difficult to buckle and unbuckle. I included pictures. Pardon the gnarly feet, I had just had socks and tennis shoes on.
Good quality but just didn't look at all the scuffed up marks that were on them right out of the box. If you could cut the price of the shoes in half I'll keep them. You can't get me another pair here before my son wedding 🥲
Extremely comfortable shoe. Good arch support.
Every pair of Dansko’s will need to be broke-in. Sometimes a pair of Dansko’s may need to be broke-in multiple times a year. In order to lessen the chance of foot injury, the customer must purchase the correct size shoe. The customer will also need to treat the leather, and potentially stretch certain areas within each shoe. Again, the customer has to prepare the shoes for their feet... The reason most shoes require customers to do more than simply put on the shoes is because not all shoes are crocs or sketchers. Further, and in response to another bewildering comment… The Dansko shoe company employs many shoe designers and pattern makers, and every new Dansko design uses a variety of materials to make each designers unique creation. And so, not every Dansko shoe design will be the exact same, from year to year. This means Dansko designers create new designs every year and does not (endlessly) produce the same pair of dansko, year after year after year after year, with no end in sight. Like crocs or vans or birkenstocks, etc. With proper care a pair of Dansko’s can last 20 years or more. Having the soles replaced and leather cleaned is fairly standard for Dansko’s. The child like complaints from recent purchases are exhausting and odd. Criticizing a shoe, any shoe, for causing blisters is untrue but silly, personal problem and not a shoe problem. Leather shoe designs are not typically custom made for each and every foot. To own custom shoes would (undoubtedly) be expensive, for the average customer. The worst reviews blame Dansko for creating a shoe that blisters and has a buckle rather than Velcro. Like every pair of shoes ever made, some have buckles, some have laces and some have Velcro closures. If you don’t break-in your shoes, it’s your own fault
I wish the sole was thicker. That rubber is not real crepe, or it is not made how it used to be. So you do feel rocks if you step on them...If you have a job where you sit all day, it's fine. But if you are a teacher not so much.I gave them 4 stars as this might be my preference, but I was expecting better quality from Dansko and for $150 shoes.
the shoes are cute, but pointier than I expected (more so than in than in the pics) and shorter compared to danskos I've had in the past. I returned.
